Course Curriculum Overview
Our course curriculum was an amalgamation of both theory and practical classes. Practical sessions were the most important elements in imparting a hands-on experience to the students. The digital infrastructure of computer labs and the fully stacked up library was really helpful in the full-length consumption of the course.
Placement Experience
Placements are okay. Most of the companies come for the B.Tech batch only, but not for the degree programs. We got to sit for some of the companies but the options and package offered was limited. Most of our batch-mates went for the higher studies.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure was pretty feasible. The fee structure and norms were industry prescribed by the university. On top of that, we got to enjoy the benefits of top class infrastructure. accommodation facilities are also pretty nominal.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship options are available especially for the students belonging to minority categories. These scholarships are facilitated by the state govt. of Madhya Pradesh. Also girl child pursuing higher studies are also eligible for availing the scholarship options.
Campus Life
Sports and cultural events are generally good. Our university is top performers in almost all of the inter-college or inter university championships organised in the contention. I personally competed for the chess tournament and secured a silver medal.
Admission
Admission to the Biotech program was merit based. I applied pretty late to the college, so I was worried about my admission. But eventually I got the admission in the biotech program, since there were not much applicants that year.
Faculty
Faculty was qualified and most of them were PhD holders. Most of them were involved in some sort of research work in the biotech. They used to share their work with us, in order to engage us in the importance of research work. We even used to discuss latest advancements in the biotech industry.
