Remarks

The college gave me some exceptional memories, as well as some good friends and I, am happy that the bond is still intact. Moreover, the subjects were actually interesting especially when we were indulged in practicals and lab sessions.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course structure for MBBS was interesting, we learned about Pre-clinical, para clinical and Clinical related subjects. The Pre Clinical subjects taught us about the basics of various structures in the body, Para clinical made us learned about the forensic and medicines and the Pathology related subjects. whereas in the Clinical I got to know about the usage of anesthesia, other drugs, and medications, etc.

Placement Experience

4

In MBBS it is utmost compulsory to do a proper internship in the final year. Hence, the college helped us to fetch a good hospital for the internship purpose. Apart from this, the college encourages the students to sit for the off-campus placement during the commencement of the final year.

Campus Life

4

There are good and enhanced features of the college that were so good and beneficial for the students, A nice library with journals and publications, guest house located in 5 different places in Kolkata , A Grievance Cell for the betterment and promoting mental wellness of the students as well as the staff and 24*7 Help Desk for any other queries.

Admission

I applied in the MBBS program by meeting the eligibility criteria set by the college authority. The admission was based on the educational percentage acquired in class 12th in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subject and NEET scorecard.

Faculty

4.5

The professors and all other guest faculty's teaching approach was very impressive. Each of them had an immense great knowledge about the course subject that helped us during the examination time period.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite planned and great and has a lot of advantages in having a clinical and learning diagnostic approach to various diseases. One area where the curriculum can improve is by having more practical classes rather than theoretical classes. The exams are quite difficult but are quite planned to make you understand the clinician and the passing percentage is 50 percent.
