Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was pretty thorough and practical oriented. The first few semesters are theory plus basic lab sessions. While a mandatory internship is also a part of our curriculum. The last few semesters were more assisting the doctors in live operations.
College Events
Events are limited as such, but basic annual activities are systematically celebrated here. Sports day and annual day features some good performances and display of talent. Freshers and farewell celebrations mark the beginning and end of the session.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My first-year fee was INR 15 lacs (approx.) and it was not feasible at all. I took a study loan, which I still paying. But it all feels worth the pain since I get to fulfill my dream. Overall the college is not that expensive. The canteen and cafeteria have nominal charges.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are also offered by the university to the meritorious students. On top of that, students have to maintain consistency in terms of academics. For minor categories, their is provision of fee relaxation and scholarship for the students of SC/ST/OBC categories.
Admission
Admissions are on the basis of the NEET UG entrance exam, on the basis of which a merit list is prepared and the students are invited for the counseling process. Students who don't appear in the first merit list are then omitted from the list and a proceeding merit list is prepared consequently. My name was in the third list.
Faculty
Faculty is the primary differentiating factor of our college. All the faculty members are qualified and very much friendly. We got proper guidance for course structure and career. These doctors cum professors used to push us for during the surgery in order to boost our confidence.
