NIT RAIPUR is a Institute of National Importance. I feel proud to be a part of this college. Infrastructure can be more improved but due to lack of space management is contrained. Institute is focusing more on research.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course at NIT RAIPUR is very much Outdated for professional and industrial work. Exam structure is very good but most of the times we get repeated question in exams. We do not give much attention to practical like in IITs.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are good but not much good. Yes our college provide us internships. CSE and IT branch have 100% placement but for core branches placement scenario is not much good. Avgerage package here is 6 lac pa.

Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible at NIt Raipur. Fees also depends on reservation system. For general category it is Rs 1,38,000 Obc-138000 Sc st pwd- 13000 Ews-55000 It is somewhat high for general and obc category.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am unaware about the scholarship scheme at NIT Raipur but as NIT is a government institute government sanction loan for studies. During admission time needy students filled the form form for loan. There is no scholarship scheme in our college. But students can fill scholarship forms of government and private institutions.

Alumni/Alumna
Nit Raipur is a no ragging campus. Seniors are very interactive with juniors. They guide us for projects, interview and placement s. NIT RAIPUR has huge alumni network all over the world. The CEO of WIPRO is from NIT Raipur and the director is also passout of Nit Raipur only. Alumni are building a incubation centre by raising funds in college campus for startups and skill development.
Admission
I got admission through Jee Main entrance exam which was conducted by UGC Netin April 2019. I was admitted to NIT Raipur in 3rd round of counselling to Mechanical Engineering. I visited the college four times for admission.
Faculty
Almost all teachers of NIT Raipur are Phd holders. But their teaching standard are not so good especially in 1st year. The quality of education depends on the teacher who is taking the subject for the semester.
