Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is carefully curated as per the need for imparting advancement in the agricultural industry. The students are often belittled about the scope of our work, but I see it as a necessity of future. We learned different aspects of agricultural research like genetic manipulation, horticulture, crop sustainability, etc.

Placement Experience

4

Placement opportunities are limited, but most of my batch-mates went for higher studies. The degree course is good enough to establish a legit base in the agricultural domain. Many students go for PhDs which is the most lucrative field for the agricultural domain.

College Events

5

The agricultural fests is the most important and fun out of all. It is a nice opportunity for the farmers to connect with the researchers. Inter college chess, basket-ball competitions are some of the events organised by the sports department of the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My fee was around 25 k for one year. Our college was very affordable both in terms of academics and extra curricular activities. The facilities provided are also pretty great and will definitely give you value for your money.

Fees and Financial Aid

Numerous scholarship options are available, which are prescribed by our college as well as the the ICAR. The scholarships offered are in form of monetary gains or fee relaxation and sometimes even perks, like money for books, etc.

Admission

I got admission on the basis of the entrance exam held by ICAR itself. Generally, admissions are done on the basis of merit, but some seats are reserved for the students who clear the entrance exam. I got preference over merit-based admissions.

Faculty

5

Faculty was pretty talented and gave us their valuable guidance with us. The field trips were most informative, where they would teach us in a practically viable environment. They motivated us towards the research field and shared there own personal experiences which they gained over the years.
