Remarks
Uttarakhand Technical University is pretty great both academically and otherwise. The infrastructure and facilities provided were top-notch. Faculty was exceptionally supportive and teaching was very good. Placements does have a scope of improvement, but it's still worth the pain.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was very good and had the tendency to make us capable of securing managerial level jobs at many leading companies. We had to study a total of 9 subjects each semester which also included elective subjects. Exams were held twice a year.
Placement Experience
Our college has a pretty good placement record. A number of companies visit our campus during the summer placement and internship placements and even in between. Dedicated mock interviews were organised, in order to channel our thoughts in a particular direction. Companies like Amazon, HCL, Wipro visit campus for recruiting students for a number of profiles.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Annually I paid 1 lakh for my MBA program, which was pretty feasible. Hostel accommodations are also provided at a pocket-friendly price. If you see it from a return-on-investment perspective, it's a pretty great deal. Students stand a chance to secure a package of around 4-9 LPA.
Campus Life
Sports activities are quite prevalent in our college. We had the best infrastructure for sports. On top of that our college is very active for the festive celebrations. Numerous workshops are organised in order to update students with latest market trends and industry updates.
Admission
Admissions are on the basis of academic performance and entrance test, UKSEE. But I applied with my CAT exam score. I was still shortlisted for the counseling process. After that next step is an Interview round and document verification.
Faculty
Faculty was very qualified and pretty friendly. We shared a good bond with them. They all were qualified with relevant degree and an exceptional amount of discipline. Classroom sessions included a lot of case study analysis, discussion and presentations etc.
