Entrance Preview

I scored 97%ile in MAT, 94%ile in CMAT. I had got the admission letters from 16 colleges still I chose MILE because of the companies coming for Placements as well as good ROI.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like American Express, Ziffi.com, Karvy, Godrej, HP,etc come for hiring the interns and the stipend is around INR 15000 on an average. Also we get live projects in different companies as well for a month or 2.

Placement Experience

100% placement is guaranteed. HP, Ziffi.com, FirstSource Solutions, eClerx, Godrej, Karvy, Sharda Plywood, Ivy Estates, WNS, American Express, Oxford, etc companies have came for the campus placements and they have offered average package of 6.2 lacs.

Fees and Financial Aid

I dont know about this thing so far. Loan facilities are available. Many students have applied for that and they have got the loan as well.

Campus Life

We participate in different colleges and their events and we have even won many prizes. We get good appreciation throughout when we perform well. Also the events organised in our college are by students and we also get the exposure and we learn management equally through this.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is hectic. Average 15 subjects for all the semesters and we have back to back exams. Exams are there even on sundays. Yes we learn time management because of that.

Faculty

The faculties are the best. We have faculties who are also the visiting faculties of IIMs, NITIE, SIBM and the Umbrellas, etc.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. I'm from a non-management background so I had a 2-step interview process which is only one step for management background students (Graduation). At first, I was asked questions about my graduation along with management questions which went for 40 minutes of rigorous question answers. In second, they completely focused on management questions, went deep into specific topics. It was rather a discussion type instead of a question-answer type in a way where they asked questions and waited for my answers, corrected me every time I went wrong to have a clear idea about anything I'm talking about.
