Entrance Preview

I gave CAT and XAT. As I am a graduate from b.com so I was left with two option whether to go for M.com or MBA. And then I made up my mind and opted for MBA. After going through the profile of various colleges, I found this college who is a simulator of corporate word.

Internships Opportunities

Our college believes in practical learning and we are still in 1st semester and 13 of us have been offered with live projects and we accepted that. Average stipend offered to us is around 30000Rs. Companies like Ziffi, Godrej, HP, Eclerx, etc. came to our college for internships.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement of our college is good. The average package offered to us is 5.75 lakhs. Some of our seniors who are in third semester have already been placed with eminent companies like Sante fe, II5, Mattel, etc.Many of our seniors have been offered with PPO(Pre-Placement Offer) because of their excellent performance during their internship.

College Events

Our annual fest known as Purple Fever is Pune's best annual college fest with a mix of all kinds of events i.e. management, cultural, sports, literary and may more.We celebrate each and every religious festival in our college and every festival is organised by students only. As all of us are away from our homes, MILE is our 2nd home and we celebrate events like a family.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes our college offers loan availability from Kotak Mahindra Bank. Our colleges provides assistance with the loan process and is always ready to provide the student with any help that he/she might need.

Campus Life

Our college is strict and code of conduct is strictly followed i.e no parties in hostels, no gender biasness, etc. We work in different committees. The gender ration would be 1:1.

Alumni/Alumna

Our alumni network is very strong. Every now and then we get a chance to meet our alumnis, who share their experience with us. We have an alumni network of over 300. They are placed with some good companies like Wipro, HSBC, HP, Lodha, Bajaj Allianz, etc.

Exam Structure

The exam structue is a little hectic as we have many subjects. We have many subjects beacuse our cirriculum is made in such a way so that we get introduced to every field of MBA.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I didn't applied for any other college as I was suggested this college by my sibling who earlier studied through this college and got a nice placement from the campus only. I'm from a non-management background so I had a 2-step interview process which is only one step for management background students (Graduation). At first, I was asked questions about my graduation along with management questions which went for 40 minutes of rigorous question answers. In second, they completely focused on management questions, went deep into specific topics. It was rather a discussion type instead of a question-answer type in a way where they asked questions and waited for my answers, corrected me every time I went wrong to have a clear idea about anything I'm talking about.
