MILE is a student driven college. I have learnt a lot here as every small to big activities are done by student itself. Students are divided into various committees to manage the college activities.
Entrance Preview
I appeared for CMAT in 2015 and scored 81.4%ile. I have opted for this college as recommended by my mentor.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum and faculty of my college is wonderful. The faculty we share is of same as SIBM.
Internships Opportunities
College internship experience is quiet learning. I was interning with Sweetsinbox.com which is a startup. I worked in the customer satisfaction department and learnt a lot about how to manage grievances of customers and ensure customer satisfaction.
Placement Experience
Placements and Job opportunities are plenty as the founder and dean of our college are having a lot of contacts with many business players. The major placement companies are:eClerx, Ziffi.com, HP, Amazon.com, Godrej etc.
College Events
Our college is a student driven college. In 2014, the students of our college initiated with an annual management festival called " Purple Fever" and managed to get a footfall of around 6000 people. The fest was not so successful but for the first time to fetch that much crowd was a remarkable one. This year too we are going to organise Purple Fever in Dec. Apart from annual fest, all other festivals are organised by students. we beleive in work hard and party harder.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible as the total fee structure is Rs. 5,58,000. Hostel and food charges are Rs. 90,000 each. Apart from college expense, more personal expense is borne.
Fees and Financial Aid
Loan facility is provided to the students having financial problem, as the college has a tie up with Kotak Mahindra Bank.
Campus Life
We Milers stay in college campus for long hours i.e. more than 12 hrs. Every activity is done in college. Extra co-curricular activities are very good as we have Highway to Hell event in Purple Fever, Maze game and other management games in induction period.
Hostel Facilities
Both hostel facilities and mess food. Food is good as 3 varities in both lunch and dinner. Nutrition value is always taken into consideration.
Alumni/Alumna
MILE respect the alumnus and always welcome them for placements and other activities. Seniors share a close bond with alumnus and they are allowed to contact them for any query.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is 70 marks written an 30 for internals. Case based questions are asked. More application based questions are asked.
Faculty
Our professors are very much experienced and well versed in their respective feilds. Every faculty member of our college has an experience of corporate world.
