About my college

Aurora college maintains discipline by making students come in proper uniform. We have good faculty but it would be nice if they provide enough placements for students.

In my course subjects provides basics to junior level students and the course complexity increases as the semester pass and it includes most of the programming and computational subjects. The course curriculum provides industry-specific knowledge to the students are we are getting on-campus placements. There are no organised industry visits and there are hardly any workshops conducted.

Amazon, Genpact, IBM, Sutherland, Aditya solutions, Q-spiders and packet prep to provide training and jobs to students. In any company, the first test is the aptitude test. For customer support, role voice test and HR rounds are conducted. For software-based roles technical rounds, pI or HR rounds are conducted. Till now 20 percent of them got placed. The institution provided special CRT classes for students to make them prepared for the interview.

Before the college is shifted from Bhongir to Abids all kinds of events like technical, cultural, management festive are celebrated. After shifting college there are no events conducted not even a workshop. Students often go outside of college to participate in events.

Fees (50000) is reasonable for facilities provided by college and 35000 is paid by the government for students through Emcet counselling and remaining is paid in the form of DD. There are no additional fees to be paid to secure an admission in our course. College does not provide any transparency in fee breakdown. Jntuh Special fee I.e 2500 and semester exam fee are the only fees that is to be paid apart from the tuition fee.

No, the college does not any scholarship opportunities as most of the fee is paid by government through fees reimbursement i.e,35000. Additional Scholarship i.e 5000 is provided to all students except EBC students.

Campus life is ok and quiet boring sometimes for students who want to learn new things, Here girls and boys are in 1:1 ratio and there is no discrimination among boys and girls. There are no such cases as gender or students discrimination. Everything here is quite cool without any political or economic issues.

Our senior students are excellent in their academics, Most of them secured jobs in service-based companies, some of them are continuing their higher studies.

I choose this course to become a professional software engineer. I live in Bhongir and the college very much near to my home before college is shifted from bhongir to abide. As the college is affiliated to Jntuh, these factors made me choose it. To get admission into this college,I have written Telangana EMCET and after getting qualified, I choose the colleges according to my rank and local area through counselling.

25 is the approximate number of lecturers in my course and they are aged between 28 to 45. Most of them did their M.tech and PhDs in computer science. Some of them are experts in their subjects as they have completed their PhDs and some are good in specific courses. Only lectures with PhDs have industry-relevant experience or certifications.
