College review

Only negative remark about our college is the office which works very slow and a student has to visit the office many times to get a work done. Except that in all the cases the college and the aithorities function very well to keep up the reputation of the college very high.

The college is a reputed college when it comes to curriculum.It also got a grade A from NAAC for its structure.The course i was admitted to was Mathematics hons.we had to appear for 16 exams in three year course,4 in 1st year,4 in 2nd year and 8 in 3rd year,all the paper being of 50 marks each.

Our college is a government funded college,so thus it niether provides internship nor placement and job oppurtunities.But the education standards are so high that many of the students ends up making it to IITs and NITs through JAM and GATE and pursue highee education.

The college celebrates many annual events:Freshers welcome,Annual cricket match,Annual football match,Inter-college volleyball competition,Social function,Farewell party,Independence day,Republic day,Annual day of the college.

As i said that the college is government funded,the fee structure is very little and can be easily afforded by all.We have to pay the fees in two installments of 1200 to 1400 each per semester depending upon the courses taken.

I have not availed any scholarship during my study period in the college,but many of my friends have.There is a scholarship called inspire which is given every year to students who scores 60% or more.An annual fee of rs 60,000 is paid to each students under the scholarship to keep on pursuing their education.

The extracurricular activities were good specially the labs,be it physics lab or chemistry lab or computer lab or zoology lab,all of them has the infrastucture and the materials thatvare required.Moreover the labs are reinforced with new tools every year.

The senior students are very helpful.They are ready to cooperate and help the juniors and guide them.They also help us with notes and other suggestions which would help us in exams.Like i am an alumni today but i still try to help people who asks me about everything in the college.

I got selected in the merit list and was called via an email from the college authorities on a subsquent date.On the day of the admission,you have to be physically present in the college admission hall and verify all the documents required.only then you will be considered for admission.

The faculty of Department of Mathematics was great as well as the other faculties also.They were always keen to help the students in whatever aspect and guide us.Not only in studies,they would also try to help someone if they asked help in some other aspect of life.
