My College Review

One of the reasons for this could be the geographical proximity of the institute since it was pretty close to my house. The constant assistance we got from the faculty members served on top of a top-notch infrastructure. Everyone is pretty friendly here and the social life is pretty decent. Corporate exposure is magnificent.

Course curriculum was specifically aimed at tricks and techniques for managing a business in its entirety. We learned about different disciplines like operations, finance, hr from a management perspective. My specialization was Finance and I was very pleased with the course curriculum. I learned about capital management, dividend distribution, fund management, trading, etc.

For my batch the maximum CTC offered stood at Rs. 9 LPA and average CTC at Rs. 3 LPA. Some of the companies which visit our institute throughout the year are Honeywell, Bosch, HCL, and many more. Placement cell was highly supportive throughout the course and we were even provided assistance for the internship process.

I paid around INR 3 lacs for my course, which was pretty expensive for me personally. But the institute is flexible enough to give me some relaxation in fee since I belong to a minor class. Another way to look at it is the amount of return you get after completion of the course. The day-to-day expenditure is pretty feasible here.

Our campus life was pretty lit. When it comes to sports, there's a fighting spirit- be it the annual sports day or the inter-college sports competition. Our college has sports teams for Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Basketball, etc. Proper gears for all of these sports are also available here.

I applied to the college with my entrance exam scores and my academic details. Admissions to the MBA program are provided on the basis of CMAT or other equivalent entrance exams. I studied for the MAT exam for 6 months and the CMAT cut off of our institute was not that high. I received a call from the institute for the counseling round after which I was granted admission to the college.

The faculty was extremely qualified and talented. They all had a lot of experience in the corporate sector. They were pretty helpful throughout our course. The presentation and case study classes were where the actual learning happened.
