Good college but okay infrastructure

College management can be a bit untimely. You may have to go check things regularly yourself. You might not even get a notification of an important circular such as the fee payment.

The course curriculum is very bookish with not as large a focus on practical application as there should be. That said, the faculties are very helpful and can refer you to the right place if you approach them. Industrial visits are organized during the four semesters of 2nd and 3rd year. The on-campus placements were abysmal for my year.

Companies like Linde, Reliance, TCS, etc visited the campus. Internships were not directly provided but the students were supported should they choose to do one. Currently, Computer and IT students had the highest placement percentage. Most of the mechanical and electrical students chose higher studies and hence applied for various entrance exams.

The biggest event of our college was Prakarsh which was a national level event. It had technical workshops and competitions as well as various non-technical events such as Treasure Hunt and marketing events. At the end of the day, DJ was held. Other events include Spandan which is a state level cultural event and the Annual Day celebrations.

The mechanical engineering fee was around 70000 an year. They also accepted per semester payments. No additional fees had to he paid to secure admission after the initial payment. The fee structure was fully transparent and listed on a notice board every semester for per semester payments as well as annual payments.

I did not apply for any scholarship or education loan. This is being written because minimum 100 characters are necessary.

Campus Life is amazing. There is no unnecessary burden or stress on students. The canteen food was great and healthy and well within budget. Water was clean and RO purified. The gender ratio is heavily skewed against mechanical engineering students. Most of the female gender was in CE, IT and EC departments.

The alumni network is just your batch. Your official WhatsApp group will be renamed to alumni group and therefore will be your alumni network.

This is one of the most well-known institute in Gujarat and the only one with the course of Aeronautical engineering. The faculties are great. Admission is done through ACPC after JEE results are out. They also accept Management Quota. The campus is quite large and far out from the city so unpolluted. Bus services are available.

All faculties are experts in their respective fields and hold, at the very least, an ME degree. Some faculties were also pursuing PhD while teaching us. Their expertise is in depth and they can clarify doubts of most of the students whenever asked. Most of the lecturers held at least 2 years of industry experience.
