Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is brilliantly designed to inculcate all the industry-related knowledge. Every semester has subjects that are important for the student to learn. Yes, the curriculum is groomed to provide industry specific knowledge very well. Also the knowledge helps in college oncampus placements. Industrial visits are organized in first and second year for students.
Placement Experience
There were various companies that visited in the placement drive. It ranged from mass recruiters like Wipro, L&T Infotech, Cognizant to companies like VMWare, Nuclei, ZS Associates, Factset, QuantiPhi etc. Almost 90% of students are placed from CS and IT branch. There have been two internship visits for the third year and there are going to be more in this semester.
College Events
We have our annual cultural fest, AAKSHANK and technical fest INVENTOR. Also, there are various events held like Induction for first-year students and Engineers Day. AAKSHANK is a four-day event held at a large scale with eclectic activities ranging from dance singing competitions to concerts of celebrities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible and reasonable. It is not that expensive looking at the quality of placement opportunities, Infrastructure, and teaching quality we avail. Hostels are also feasible and inexpensive to live in. The college provides transparency in fee breakdown and also we can easily pay fees online or via DD.
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't opt for the scholarship or education loan. However, there are students who have availed MMVY scholarship.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is better compared to other engineering colleges. There are approximately 20 girls on 50 boys. There is a good mix of diversity among the students.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is getting strong gradually which is a reason why placements are also improving. College seniors are there to help you anytime.
Admission
Yes, I got admission in this college. I opted for an Engineering course to explore and expand my horizon of knowledge in the field of Information Technology. I chose this institution to have an equilibrium of curricular as well of extra-curricular activities and develop myself not only my engineering skills but also non-technical skills.
Faculty
There are faculties ranging from visiting faculty to assistant professors to professors and obviously the head of a department for each branch present in our college. The average age is about 35 and they all are PhD graduates. They all have good knowledge of the subjects they teach although some of them dont.
