To conclude the college is quite an average college to study if your okay with the dress code and rules of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses are taught as per the university of madras guidelines. The teaching is comparatively good as compared to other colleges. The exam pattern is 75(external) + 25 (internals) the internal marks are given based on the unit test marks, seminar marks, assignment and attendance. Staffs are quite friendly with the students. The dress code in college is very strict.
Placement Experience
The placement in the college is average only call centres with night shifts are approaching the college. There is a dedicated placement cell in the college. I have got a chance to attend an internship with Exnora.
College Events
The college management doesn't organize many events and competitions only some are conducted such as Freshers day, college day, annual day, sports day, intercollegiate workshops, national conferences, etc but the college has several clubs which organizes some competitions like debate, speech, etc also the college gives chance to the students to attend the culturals in other colleges.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees charged by the college is very nominal as compared to other colleges in fact it is very feasible. We will be taken to college tour which is not included in the college fees. The exam fee is also not inclusive only the semester fees comes around 17000 for odd sem and 12000 for even sem.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't adopted any scholarship from the college but some of my friends have adopted scholarships like sc st scholarship, minority scholarship, central govt merit scholarship, etc.
Campus Life
The college campus is quite small it has 2 blocks main block and the annexe block widely there is no fun element in the college. The college mainly focuses on studies and discipline. The dress code is only churidars no leggings are allowed bringing mobile phones to the college is strictly banned.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior-junior relationship is quite friendly. Even I have so many friends in the 2nd and 1st years of my department. You still have contact with my passed out of seniors.
Admission
The admission process is purely offline. We can approach the college campus and get the application form which costs around 200rs and after we get our exam results we can submit the application form and we will get to know whether we will get admission or not.
Faculty
The faculty and the students will have a very cordial relationship. They tend to help the students in all aspects. They are easily approachable. All the staffs are well qualified. They are ready to clarify the doubts especially when we have doubts about problem paper.
