MY GEC MODASA

I love my college GEC MODASA. This college has made my career. After PASSING from this college in 2013. I have cracked the government exam and now I am at the post of supervisor instructor at ITI GANDHIDHAM KUTCH GUJARAT. THIS 4 YEARS OF MY COOLEGE WAS A GOLEND DAYS AND IT WILL BE REMEMBERED THROUGHOUT MY LIFE. I AM MISSING YOU GEC MODASA.

I have selected the automobile engineering course as my career. The engineering course was a four year course with 8 semester. And exam and submission work every semester. There was exam in every semester with 6 to 7 subjects and theresult was on the basis of grading system.

The placement was there. But not many company turn to our college as it was a government college. Few company come to our college and directly recruit the students on the basis of interview and written exams. The college was providing internship in few engineering field mainly mechanical. IT AND COMPUTERS WITH THE STILEND AMOUNT OF 12000.

As we all know that without any event the college life is incomplete. Our college also celebrate many events like signature days, chocolate days. White day. Rose day. Teachers day. And specially we organize blood donation camp to donate blood to NGOs.

As it was a government college the fee structure was very feasible and not a burdensome or costly. The semester wise cost was around 5000. The fee STRUCTURES was very feasible for everyone. Every body was able to afford that fees.

Yes the student scholarship was available there for economically weaker section. Scholarship of 30000 to 35000 was given to students for financially weaker sections. And special scholarship was given to sc and at cast students on the basis of their merits and income certificate of their parents.

Sports activity. Cultural programmes. There was sports complex for indoor games. A special arrangement was made for playing badminton, Squash,. Table tennis. Chess was my favourite One's. Outdoor game cricket was the loveable for everyone. Sports week was organized every year. It was really a great life in college.

Yes there was hostel facility available at our college. But I have not opted for this facility. I have choose to live in the city as a paying guest. The infrastructure of the college was very well furnished and located at good location with all proper facilities and amenities. There were special blocks for senior and junior students. And girls hostel was also there for girl students.

Always supportive and very helpful nature. GOOD SUPPORT AT MY FIRST YEAR IN COLLEGE. NO RAGGING. They were always helpfull to me in any kind of trouble specially in project submission. They were my elder brothers taking care of younger One's.

The admission process was on the merit and entrance test after 12th science. We have to give the entrance test guj-cet for admission in college. After the entrance test. We have to apply for the engineering course at apcdp site. After that merit was prepared. And on merit the engineering branch and college was decided.

The faculty of our college was very talented and have good grasp on their subjects. They were technically sound and teach every subject in a very good manner. They were always there to solve our problems and query in subjects. They were recruited after competition in GPSC exam.
