It's a good college among private institutions in bhopal in terms of discipline and infrastructure. The college students are more concerned with outside opportunities which help in building a healthy competition among students
Course Curriculum Overview
The bachelor of engineering course is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya university which contains 5 branch subjects in each semester totalling to 40 subjects in 4 years of the course.
Placement Experience
The placement is the major factor where a college attracts the student. In oriental, placements are a priority and the placement department tries their best to bring the companies to the college. TCS is the major recruiter of the institute. The senior batch gets good opportunities in many companies and the average salary package is 3.5-4.0 LPA.
College Events
The techacme is the major technical fest organised every once a year which includes cultural sports and codeathons. Various games and gaming zones are the great hub of attraction among the mobs. I was the coordinator of the roadies event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is midway between feasible and expensive. The fees which I paid was 39000 per semester totalling to approx 312000 rs for the entire BE degree. The fees can be paid in installments or in whole.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee waiver scheme is allotted to students by MP Dte itself for their smooth education and the welfare of poor meritorious students. The college too provides fee relaxation to some percentage on the basis of her scores.
Campus Life
The labs are mainly for tution purposes with a newly established cad lab for computer aided design. Along with it there are 3 Wipro labs 1 dell lab 1 IBM lab totalling to more than 1000 computer systems
Alumni/Alumna
There is a cooperative and smooth relation between the seniors and juniors. The seniors are very helpful in providing useful information for upcoming opportunities in college as well as out of the college.
Admission
I got admission in the college by scoring 93 marks in her main in 2nd counseling in 2016. I got mechanical branch initially but internal branch sliding provided me IT BRANCH. The college counselling was conducted under no dte.
Faculty
Faculty members are the persons who show you the way of your career. They are very good and well qualified. My experience with them was very good so far and they are frank and interactive with me. They also give you the solution to your academic problems. Overall, they are good. The course curriculum is also good and updated.
