Remarks
It is a overall average college. However, much can be improved if the administration tries to resolve the issue. We can get a better placement if more and more companies are called So overall it is an average college.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is BTech in Electrical Engineering.The curriculum is slightly outdated and the Labs too. We have 2 semesters in a year and each semester has 2 exams -1 Minor of Mid Semester;2- Major or semester exam, for a single semester.
Placement Experience
The placement here is very bad. The average package is 3.3 lacs per year and overall near about 20-30 students are selected from the whole college. The placement here is not upto the mark so one should not expect a high salary from this college.
College Events
There are many events organised in the college. The biggest ones are Techsrijan,Abhuyday,Electra, Explora, etc, the whole year events are organised and these events release the stress of the students amd we learn something new from these events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is quite high here. The College fees is about ?1,10,000 which is almost equal to a private college. So the fee taken is very high and since the placement here is not good. No it leaves a feeling of regret that even after paying such a huge fee, we get nothing in the end.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I don't avail any scholarship in this college. As the scholarship criteria is that the Annual Income of the child's parents should be less than 2 lacks per annum. Since my parents income is more than 2 lacks per annum. I don't get any scholarship benefits.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities are organised here. We have the Annual sports meet in which many games like cricket, hockey, badminton, football etc are organised. The labs are very much outdated and no reading. Can be taken without any error, the labs are obselete.
Hostel Facilities
No,I have taken a room on rent outside the campus. In first year. I was in Hostel but because the hostel is 4 seated and the food quality is not good So I left the hostel and the fees ho hostel is almost equal to that of a rented room.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni record of this college is very good. The alumni hold good position in various places. Previous The University was college affiliated with UPTU so the Placements were good. But now after becoming a University.The quality of the college has been degraded.
Admission
There is a separate examination for this University called as Malaviya Entrance Test also known as MET. I gave MET 2018 and got 578 general rank and Got electrical engineering trade. Met is basically an easy exam and mostly questions from class 10tb syllabus was asked. Overall the entrance was easy.
Faculty
Some of the faculties are good but many faculties here are old and they follow the old teaching style without any innovation. Some of the old faculties are very rise and they don't listen to any of the problems of the children.
