One of the best college in Kannur

Positives: College is good for both education and character development. Teachers were supportive, they tried to understand our problems and help overcome it. Proper communication is there between students and teachers. Negatives: The only negative thing that came to my mind is that there's some, very few people among college staffs who are narrow minded. Like, they can't digust seeing students being in a relationship. At least my department didn't have that kind of people.

My college follows the Kannur University course curriculum. The whole course consist of 6 semester. The first two semester got more subjects other than the main course like languages and political science. At the end of each semester there's exam conducted by University.

Placement and job opportunities depends on our personal capabilities. College doesn't provide internship. One thing is that since it is a reputed college the degree certificate got more value than some private institutes.

Onam Celebration ( Our state festival) This is celebrated every year with lots of programs and all. Department wise competitions are there. Also most of the International Day things are celebrated in college by various departments like NSS, NCC etc.

Feasible. Since it's a government college the fee structure is feasible. It won't go beyond 3000 INR per semester. Talking about the examination fees, additional fee should be paid for supplementary exams. Also some fines will be there for late application submission. Nothing expensive I'm aware of.

Loan facility is not there i think. About the scholarship, there's something that offers to guys who are excellent in academics but financially backward too. IMO it's a great thing to offer them promote their education.

College is known for the excellence in sports and other activities. Most of the sports competition are won by our college. They got good training for each sport items like football, cricket, basketball and all. almost every sport is active here.

No. I stay nearby from college. Nearly 6-7 km from my home. Don't know much about the hostel infrastructure. One or two hostel is there for woman's only near college ( about 200 meters). Restrictions are there for them like they can't hangout after a certain time. The one for men is situated little far away from college. Have to take the bus to get to the hostel ( almost 5km away). Food and all is not that bad from what i heard from my friends. The hostel fee is feasible too.

About the alumni network. The college got one for the department only and the college as a whole network. Senior students were supportive in all activities like department wise programs. They used to interact with us almost every time.

I got into the college through Management quota. This college is run by SN (Sree Narayana) Trust. We have to meet the person in charge of management quota before the academic year begin. He'll check with our +2 qualification and give the list of seats available in various departments.

Good. They're very supportive. At least i think so. Some of them really helped me to overcome my problems. They give more focus to guys who are not that good in studies. Give them special classes too. They made our learning a better experience.
