Good college with friendly faculty

Overall our college is a good college. The negative remark of our college is that they do not provide hostel facility. Many studenta come from a far distance that is by train or by bus, hence reaching college on times sometimes is not possible.

The course curriculum of our college is very reliable. Here students can choose over a wide range of courses. The exam structure is semester wise. We have to pass the internal examinations first which takes place before one month of the semester exams. The marks of internal exam depends on attendance, projects and a small class test which will be added with the semester marks.

Our college donot offer any kind of placement or job oppurtunities. Being an honours college, they do not even provide any kind of internship. Hence I do not have any experience to share. If any student want to do an internship then they have to apply by their own.

Annual function is celebrated ones a year. We are taken to nearby auditorium. College students perform different kinds of cultural activities there. Even artists fr outside are also brought. They also perform varities of cultural programmes.

The fee structure of college is feasible. As our college is government undertaken, it does not cause much expenses per semester. The maxmimum amount that one person has to pay per semester is around five thousand. And before the semester exam, they take some examination fee.

Our college does not provide any kind of scholarship. If a student belonging to a very poor family wants to apply for a loan then she have to submit an application and the details required to the main university.

Our college supports many kinds of extra cureicular activities. Singing, dancing, debate, essay writing, camping are very common scenario of our college. Even drawing and poster making competitions are also held in our college at regular intervals.

The alumni network or the senior students are very much helpful to the juniors. They always act as elder sisters towards us. Being a all girls college, we are very lucky to have such seniors in our college.

I got admission through merit list. I filled the Online application. My name was present on the 3rd phase merit list. Then after that the 1st semester fees was sibmitted through online process. As soon as the fees was submitted we received a receipt. A print out of the final application form and the receipt was taken out. The next day we went to the college for verification of documents and at last we got admission.

The faculty of our college are very friendly. They are always ready to help the students in any way they can. Sic faculty are appointed for each course. And they help their students whenever asked. They never show any irritation if someone keeps on repeating same doubts.
