Remarks

As they say that a coin has two sides, everything in life has positives and negatives. But the positive definitely outweigh the negatives in the case of my college. One has to be here to experience that.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

MBBS is not an easy course to do but with will power and determination it is a course that can be done and understood if one has the ability to concentrate and quickly grasp various topics about the human body. Internal exams are held every 5-6 months and once has to procure at least 33% to qualify for the fjnal examination. An University exam is held at the end of the year the passing criteria for which is kept at 50%.

Placement Experience

4.5

A mandatory 1 year internship is there after the sucessful completion of 4.5 years of the course for which a stipend is provided for the basic needs. The stipend provided is as per the rules set by the government of Maharashtra.

College Events

3.5

Annually, various events are held during the months of January and February that include cultural and sports. The undertaking and organising of the events are fully done by the students. Various events are also held on special days and occasions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is similar to most private medical colleges. Not much to complain. It is definitely higher than that is at Government medical colleges. However it is still lower than the fees that is set at different medical colleges in various states of India.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am personally not aware of any loans or scholarships provided by the college as such. But there have been visits by various bank and financial services providing loan to the underprivileged students.

Campus Life

4

The college has various labs available and are free for the students to visit and use as per their need. There is also a musuem in the various departments where specimens are kept such that students may have a better understanding of the human body.

Alumni/Alumna

As per my knowledge, this is one of the colleges where I have seen that senior students are very helpful towards juniors and there is no bias and ego shown by them. They are always available and being friends with them is what makes college life better.

Admission

During our time, there was no NEET exam, entrance exam was held by the institute. Current system is based on merit obtained on NEET exam held by Govt. Of India. I have recieved admision under NRI category since my schooling was completed abroad.

Faculty

4

The faculty is well educated and highly skilled. Everyone is ready to help and clear any doubts. They do ensure that topics are well understood and encourage students to visit the operation theatres and clinics on a regular basis so that we may understand topics at a better level.
