Remarks
The overall academic environment of college is good, just some more efforts need to be taken to improve lab infrastructure and increase placement options in the university as off campus placement is easier here.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good. It covers all the important topics. Also the exam stucture is nice. The exams are held semester wise along with two sessionals test before the semester exams. The University prepares us well for the exam.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities are not good even though our University is a semi government one. The internship is provided with other institutes through Mou but stipend is not always necessary to be given.
College Events
There is fresher's party at the beginning of the year. Then college fest Kalrav, then sports day, conferences are held which help academically and then farewell party. Separate time is given for extracurricular activities in our college. Book fair or any other exhibition also occurs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is quiet feasible. The students with economic issue are given fee reimbursemnent by the government of Uttar Pradesh so that every child gets the equal opportunity to study. Along with fee reimbursement scholarship is also given.
Fees and Financial Aid
I dont know. I just know about the scholarship provided by the government of Uttar Pradesh to economically weak students alongwith the fee reimbursement. Loan facility can be easily provided with the State Bank Of India present in the college.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are quiet active. There are indoor and outdoor stadiums present with various sports activities being held. The conditions of labs is fine. There is sometimes shortage of some chemicals or instruments.
Hostel Facilities
Yes i have opted for hostel, the infrastructure and facilities are quiet good and help is always provided and complai ts are also answered within a short span of time. The hostel food is fine neither good nor bad.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes the alumini are conected through mails. The senior students are not always supportive,they are quiet partial, helping only specific students, but few are very good. Our alumini come once in a year to share their experience.
Admission
Through Uttar Pradesh Abdul Kalam Technical University Entrance Examination. I secured 850 rank in general catogory. The exam occurs in the month of April- May and one has to qualify it to get admission in the engineering colleges or universities of Uttar Pradesh.
Faculty
The faculty of our college is highly supportive and focuses on our academic life very well. The faculty is very helpful in every manner and alongwith semester exam preparation they prepare us for various other competitive exams also.
