My college experience is good.

Just one. The couples in our college are viewed as something bad by the faculties. Overall experience in college is a sweet one.

Course curriculum in all of the core branches is highly GATE oriented and hence, highly relevant. Exam structure is very fair. Each subject teaches about something that is useful for future industry specific works. Industrial visits are also organised. On campus placement goes up to 100% even in chemical engineering department.

The placement in cse/IT is the best. Ces like Microsoft, Amazon and Google hire individuals from our college not only for full time, but also for internship. The placement stats for chemical engineering department is 100% with average of 10.5LPA by which you yourself could guess. PSUs and MNCs come to hire individuals from our college. The best thing of the college is the placements.

Event celebration is where our college stands average. Many celebrities come in our college in our technical fest, Avishkar and in our cultural fest, Culrav. But many colleges do better than ours. There are other fests like entrepreneurship event renaissance and aeromodelling and robotics fest, Prosang.

Fee structure are divided on the basis of annual income of the family of the students and also on category basis. The mess fee is same for every student at 15000. The 3 slabs for annual income of family are below 1LPA, 1-5LPA and above 5 LPA. The students have to submit a copy of the family income certificate at the time of admission to claim fee for the lower slabs.

College offers scholarship only on merit basis. Other schemes by which students avail scholarship is state scholarship and OP Jindal scholarship.

Gender ratio is polarised towards boys. For 1 female there are 2-3 male in B.Tech. students are not allowed to make political groups in college due to which there is high amount of peace. Diverse cultural groups are present as students and faculties are from various regions of the country and some form outside too.

Hostel facilities are average. Students are not allowed to keep any electrical equipment other than lights and fans. The rooms are small for 2nd,3rd and final year. Mess food is not good because the food is made in bulk. Guards are present to check discipline. Sweepers are hired to sweep rooms and bathrooms on daily basis.

Every year there is an alumni meet. Alumni of 25 and 50 year old batches come and reunite and visit college to observe changes and donate funds to various student and college clubs.

I was preparing for IITs but didn't score that good. I am from kanpur. I reviewed the best NITs near my city and all over India as well. My rank was 9005 in jee mains and 7208 in jee advance. I preferred CSE department because i did seek interest in the same. So in the first 4 rounds of 2016 Jossa counselling i got NIT Durgapur branch IT. I went for further rounds and then it got upgraded to MNNIT Allahabad electrical branch.

The professors in our college are very highly educated, from respected institutions. The studies are properly conducted and taken very seriously in our institute. The 75% attendance is taken very seriously by most of the professors. The teaching pattern and style of these professors is highly professional and appreciated by the students.
