It was just fine for tier 3 type college

Conclusion would be it is a good option if you can't get admission in tier 1 or 2 colleges out there like nit, thapar, jnu etc

Bca taught here has multiple options in language or career path like testing, development. Only basic programming skills are taught here, rest you have to learn by yourself or train at a professional institute like ducat, coding ninja etc. Exams are conducted biannually in centers alloted. There were no industrial visits organized for us.

The internships we mainly got were the ones we paid for the training or is someone was working in a startup for free. Placements were not good for our batch but companies like Deloitte, tcs, wipro, vivo etc. Had good offers compared to others.

There are many events organized throughout the time you are enrolled here like anugoonj, alumni meets and sport events and some of the very famous music composers also come here every now and then. Given that Harsh Beniwal was also part of the our batch you get the idea about extra curricular activities here. ;-))

I think the fees is quite affordable to maximum number of people out there. Additional charges at my time were 40k given at the time of admission which was the charges of the university i.e. ggsiu. Mode of payments at the time were limited to cheque and DD only, which has to be paid after filling a form in the basement of building A.

I have no idea about any scholarships offered here nor did i see any one availing it. Most of the people were here from medium class families.

The campus life here is pretty satisfactory for most of the students here given that you have minimum attendance. You have many opportunities in acting, singing and sports. There were optional activities like debates, quizzes and other competitions. Gender ration was about 30:70 of girls to boys respectively.

Alumni connections were good enough only if you can get to their good side, if any thing on the bad side you could be failed in worst case.

Mainly i chose this course due to my interest in computer applications. And this particular college was very close to ring road and metro. For entrance you have to register on their website ipu.ac.in and chose the programme you want to apply, then you'll receive the admit card and center details for entrance which is usually MCQ type where you have to fill circles for right answer in omr sheet given.

A few of the faculty here is really good at their fields but you're gonna find some of them are here just to fill their vacancy and the attitude they have is nothing short of the king or queen of England. I think the only handful of the faculty had industry experience and certifications.
