Course curriculum is decided by MCI i.e medical council of India there are nine semester and one year internship program all semester end with exam mainly 4 professional exam conducted by HNB University

Placement Experience

There is three years compulsory hilly area bond service as Government of uttarakhand provides subsidized tution fees.yes college provides rotatory internship of 365 days stipend near about ?7500 per month

College Events

All along the year there are many festival celebrated in college starting from republic day independence day, falgun mahatosav the annual fest crescendo which includes sports literary cultural activities also there are super duper fresher party and farewell party

Fees and Financial Aid

Not any scholarships by college but government of uttarakhand provides subsidized tution fees for students but anyone can apply for loan from the bank.

Campus Life

There are a lot of extracurricular activities all around the year with annual conference of each department in college. All departments have well equipped air conditioned laboratories.

Hostel Facilities

There are different hostel for different batches and also for interns and post graduates hostel roomin first and second year is shared basis then single room is alloted. You gets well furnished hostel with common washrooms equipped with geysers and 24hour water supply also RO for drinking water

Alumni network is so strong a committee is there known as JDA jouinour doctors association all are part of it communicate all the times about various topics of college hospital phcs etc.

Admission

After completing 12 with science bio side appeared for UPMT( uttarakhand pre medical test) exam which includes physics chemistry and biology then councelling then admissions according to the state rank in uttarakhand.

There are overall 19 subjects overall in all the subject faculty is experienced and hardworking there is little shortage of staff in this medical college government of uttarakhand is trying to fullfil it

My honest thoughts

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college curriculum is relevant to our course in this field we save lives of many patients which influenced me the most that's why I always wanted to become a doctor. After the inter introduction of clinical posting we get early exposure to the patients which prepare us for real word application of our knowledge. Time to time exams are conducted here to test are abilities and areas and subjects so that we can improve in that particular field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Attendance criteria is 75 percent it should be reduced More practical based ques should be asked in the exam and more emphasis on practical knowledge should be done. Proper class test of each subject should be conducted. We have yearly based exams.

Nice college

Placement Experience:

We get a stipend internship of 17000 per month and after the internship, if u have a bond then u get 5 yr compulsory service under the government of which u get a salary of 70000-80000 per month. You can post in hilly areas.

HIMS mbbs college(dehradun) review

Remarks:

The college is excellent in terms of studies and reputation. It is renowned college of the state and being medical college, the patient inflow is also high. The teachers are excellent. However there is not much attention given to cultural activities and sports.

Perfect place for quality education

Remarks:

Apart from the fee structure the rest facility in the college is nice. Education is good quality and hospital facility is also nice. Life in college is decent and the extra corricular activities are also ediquate.

As such college is nice. On educational basis it is superb. But others activities are very less organized. No events. No trips.

I choose government medical College Haldwani because of its affordable fee structure. Excellent clinical exposure and reputation as one of in Uttarakhand. It offers a balance of quality education and hands on patient care due to its association with a high patient hospital. Comparison with other college colleges applied to. Serial number one,Doon medical College -this college is also good, but this college is new, so I prefer GMC Haldwani over this Serial number two, Government medical College, Almora- This College is also new and located on Hill area, so I didn't prefer this as this is very far from my house. Admission process at Gmc Haldwani:- Eligibility is 10+2 with PCB and neat qualification and minimum age 17 years, Exam accepted. NEET UG is mandatory.
