Course Curriculum Overview
The institute offers engineering degree programs with the approval of the government of India and with affiliation to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. All B.Tech programs are NBA accredited. Placement Experience
Our college provides a lot of placements. Students with good percentage and skills can easily get placed on campus. More than 50 companies visit the campus during placements. The placement season starts after the announcement of results and providing the certificates.
College Events
Every branch celebrates its own fest for 2 days in the college. On the first day, the projects done by the students of all the branches are exhibited, and a flash mob is performed. On the second day, the students arrange some stalls for entertainment. Excluding these fests, the fest called Sizney conducted in the college is well-known in the city.
Fee Structure And Facilities
TKR College of Engineering and Technology offers various degree courses such as B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA. The fee structure of B.Tech and M.Tech is mentioned below: B.Tech is offered in Computer Science, Civil, Electrical and Electronics etc. for a course fee of INR 57,000 per annum. M.Tech is offered in Power Electronics, Software Engineering, Computer Science etc. for a course fee INR 57,000 per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
have to pay only 15000 for year with exam fee and library fee with a scholarship of 4000 and reimbursement of 35000. There was no such programs by college as scholarship and reimbursement were provided by governmen
Campus Life
Our college was first know for Technical fest and then for education it was quite fun as every department used to conduct fest and technical seminars every year. That way we used have 6 fest in a year and sport fest organized by college departments
Hostel Facilities
I was a day scholar I didn't know about that but a friend of mine told that they were charging 15000 for one bed which includes wifi, food and hostel library card but rooms where crowded with lot of students and stairs were slippery.
Alumni/Alumna
Due to the anti ragging squads in our college senior students were not allowed to interact with junior students but at the time of department fest we used to work collectively on a expo and organised technical seminars with involvement of principal sir
Admission
The college admits undergraduates and postgraduates. Undergraduate students are admitted through the statewide EAMCET examination for intermediate students and diploma students through TS ECET. Postgraduate students through GATE and ICET, which are conducted every year. Apart from EAMCET, TSECET, GATE, and ICET exams, students are also admitted through B-Category (selection based on JEE (Mains), EAMCET ranks and NRI quota.
Faculty
As it is an autonomous college, we have holidays on weekends. The academic schedule is prepared considering the holidays as well. The faculty in our college are very experienced, and you can not find a better faculty than them in any other college. It is a four years professional degree in bachelor of technology.
