College management is quite strict, doesn't allow students to fully exercise due to attendance restriction. Doesn't give attendance for the internship. As said before, it is an academic result oriented.
Course Curriculum Overview
Frankly speaking, it is an academic result oriented. They only care about the pass percentage and think that will help them in the future studying the outdated syllabus. I don't know much about the placements since I'm in the 6 semesters. Industrial visits have been organized.
Placement Experience
About the placements, not many companies come who pay a good amount for the freshers. And some companies give internship opportunities and give them a full-time job if they do well.
College Events
The technical fest that takes place is pretty good. A lot of competitions will be held in various departments. Few students from other colleges also come for participation. Speaking of the cultural fest, I personally haven't participated, but my friends do. It's good too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As a CET student, they make my father pay forty thousand bucks which are low compared to other college students who also entered into their college through CET. And this is the pretty big amount as my father also need to pay the Karnataka board a whopping fifty thousand.
Fees and Financial Aid
I receive Karepass scholarship of twenty thousand Indian rupees after been approved from the college side which is not even half of my fees.
Campus Life
The campus is moderately big. The library is damn good, we also have a digital library. In MVJ, boys are forbidden from sitting next to girls. And library boys are not allowed to sit on the chairs reserved for girls. Labs are good too. Events are also been organized from time to time in our department.
Alumni/Alumna
I know a few seniors who have really helped me in going forward or knowing what to focus on. My seniors have always tried to help me whenever I needed them.
Admission
First, I took the CET test. I got some ranking. And I got some stupid colleges in the first and the second round. Therefore, I had to wait for the third round list to be released. And finally, I got MVJ College of Engineering. Since I was from CET my father had to pay 90k and got a seat.
Faculty
There are approximately 20 teachers in the cse department with an average age of 30. As I said above, the teachers are exam result oriented. So, they are not bad in clarifying the doubts. And I don't know about their industrial experience and certification.
