Good college with good infrastructure, but there is not much transparency in the management Structure and most students do not have much say in the way rules are implemented on the campus.

The curriculum for my batch is determined by VTU although it has become autonomous this year for the new admission students. We have 3 theory and 2 practical internals which is added with an external exam for both theory and practicals to get a total score using which cgpa is calculated. A cumulative GPA is provided at the end of 4 years.

Companies including Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Microfocus, Eurofins, INSZoom, etc. Have come for placement drive. Most of them have a similar pattern of aptitude test followed by F2F interview. Approximately 60-65% have been placed so far in my knowledge, which will increase in this final semester.

There are mainly 2 fests that take place in a year. A technical fest with many technically related interactive events for the students. Many colleges also come and participate in the events to win cash prizes. A cultural fest with many extracurricular as well as co-curricular activities. Each event provides a good experience for the students.

Fee Structure is on the expensive side. KCET students have to pay an additional amount along with the KCET fees for admission. These are mostly done through cash payments. Management seats cost around 2.4 Lakh each year irrespective of the course as far as know. Not much transparency is provided in the fee Structure break down.

I have availed for an educational loan for which I have to walk to and forth the bank and college every year, in order to get the right communication between the college and bank as each year they seem to forget how I paid my fees the previous year.

Most of the students are male with a ratio of approximately 3:2. There are no events the freshers nor any special events like an ethnic day. I have heard hostel day is celebrated every year but I do not know of the details of the events. Many students do come from different parts of the country and are somewhat satisfied with the institution.

I have had a good set of seniors who were friendly and helpful in every way. I haven't personally interacted with alumni but my immediate seniors that I've met are all pretty good people.

I am keenly interested in computer science hence I have chosen this course. Among the few colleges that provided computer science course for my rank in KCET, this was the best college. Had to go through 3 rounds of KCET counselling and got the college in the 3rd list. Then had to come and confirm here at the college and pay fees as well.

There are more than 20 faculties for all the departments. All have an average age of around 30-40 years with experience of at least 3 years. All of the lecturers are either Master's degree holders or PhD holders with vast knowledge in the subject that they handle.
