Course Curriculum Overview
MVJ comes under vtu for 2017 scheme, now it is autonomous. So the course design is vtu based. Syllabus in vtu is designed to gain knowledge though it might not meet all the required skills for present industry requirements, it is still usefull. The college organises various seminars and workshops to meet industry requirements.
Placement Experience
College provides personal development programs so that it helps us to develop our skills. Campus placement starts after 6th sem.
College Events
Our college organises various technical seminars and workshops. They encourage the skills of students and guide them. They help in showcasing the projects developed by students every year. College organises technical and cultural fests. Technical fest is named as vertex and Cultural fest is named as Swayam. These events provide platform for students to exhibit their talent and also to enjoy.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As I got in through CET, fee amount is 91880.0 per annum. In which 40000.0 is value added fees and 51880.0 is tution fees. If student gets into college through management quota fee amount will be around 250000 lakhs per annum. Hostel facility, transportation will be additional charges.
Fees and Financial Aid
I dint opt any scholarships or education loan. Scholarship will be given based on a family's annual income, meritorious students also have the opportunity for scholarship
Campus Life
College life is based on what we accept in college. We have good facilities to guide us and many opportunities for extracurricular activities. Different labs in campus helps students to work on. Tinkering Lab, Robotics lab and many more. Students get good support for participating in sports and competitions, by the way maintaining minimum attendance is mandatory.
Alumni/Alumna
Our alumni are very supportive. They organise various workshops in different fields within the campus, this is really helpful.
Admission
I got admitted in this college through CET entrance examination. I got the opportunity to join this college in allotment given by KEA. Admission procedure was not so tedious. Process was simple and maintained well, I submitted required documents and then paid fee through DD.
Faculty
Faculties are really friendly so that we can easily approach them to clarify our doubts. We have many PhD holders also as our assistant professors. Most of them are post graduated. And few are undergraduates. We are glad to have such knowledge and experienced faculty members to guide us.
