Remarks

Overall good but I feel the college is bit overrated. Positives: The best thing of the college is Library. It is a three floored building with a quite good collection of books. It was newly built when we were in final year. The pleasant atmosphere in library can make anyone to either sleep or to study well. Techno cultural fest Mohanamantra will definitely make one to learn something even though there are many politics. Remarks :Classrooms need to be bit good as the rooms in CSE block are old. Would be great if mini project is given for each and every sem rather than testing only theoritical knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum is average. It can be designed in even better manner by focusing on providing hands-on to students rather than just being theoritical. One way to achieve this is by increasing the labs and by encouraging students to give seminars.

Placement Experience

4.5

For our batch(2014-2018), the placements were less so internship oppurtunities were also minimal because of recession due to which only 4% students managed to do persue internship whereas for all the other batches it is atleast 50%.

College Events

5

Every year, college's techno cultural fest MOHANA MANTRA is celebrated for which people from various colleges attend and participate in different technical and cultural activities. The best part of the fest is students manage everything for the event. Organizing this fest will definitely make us to learn many things in life.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is bit expensive. I personally feel one can study in metro cities like Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad to get full exposure. But if one wants the best college which is near to their hometown, then it would certainly best option as placements are really good.

Fees and Financial Aid

For all those who joined through EAMCET, nearly Rs.35,000 is paid by Government out of total fee. If a student gets rank below 10,000 then total amount is paid by the government except the hostel fee /transportation fees.

Campus Life

4

The sports day celebrated every year reveals the hidden talent of the students. There are department events which are conducted weekly once or monthly twice. There are some events like Art and Literary club common to all departments that provide room to discuss GD, debates etc.,

Alumni/Alumna

The network solely depends on the individual. But there are some other factors like being a dayscholar or hostler(private/college hostler). College hostlers have a high probability to interact with seniors followed by private hostlers. Yeah, the inputs from seniors and alumni are helpful most of the time.

Admission

I joined in college through EAMCET(Andhra Pradesh entrance test for joining B. TECH). Admission can be taken either by entrance test or by Management quota. If one wants to enter through entrance examination, one need to clear EAMCET with cutoff rank. Different departments have different cutoffs.

Faculty

4

Not everyone are technically very knowledgeable. But there are some faculties whom I personally believe deserve more than being faculty in our college. But at the end of the day, it is in the hands of students either to make their hands dirty or chill whole year.

Reviewed on Nov 2, 2024(Enrolled 2021)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
