I took EAMCET andhra pradesh, i got a rank of 34000. I was looking for doing bachelor of engineering in electronics and cmmunication branch in a good college at my place. I choose many colleges in online counselling but i was worried if i would get a seat in a good college as my rank was 34000. But luckily i got a seat in ece in gudlavalleru engineering college whose cutoff rank was 9000 but as was bc-e category i got the seat even though my rank was 34000. This college is one of the best colleges in andhra pradesh.

The course i chose is ece. I chose this as i m very much interested in communication field. We had 8 semesters, 16 labs, each sem with 6 subjects except last semester faculty are very friendly except some of them. Some of the faculty are very experienced while otheres are junior professors. Any how very good college with very pleasant environment. There is a lot of freedom unlike other colleges around which have very strict rules.

Only a new company called as vr cyber security came for internship. The stipend they offered was 2 laks for an year.

Every year many companies come to hire students but this year the companies were very less. Many companies that came this year had a package of avg 2 laks/annum. Major companies that came this year were techm, idea, petrofac,vr cyber security, mphasis etc. the highest package was 4.5laks/annum. As there were limited on campus companies college faculty made us to take part in writing amcat, cocubes through which we could get more oppurtunites.

Coming to the festivals in college, i dont think any other college conducts so many events as our college conducts in andhra pradesh.There are many cultural festivals such as gecfest, a college fest conducted at state level with various activites with various national celebrities as guests. This fest will be counducted for 3 days. Various students from various colleges from india come to participate in various sports and cultural activites and there will be big prizes for the winners. There are many food stalls, game stalls unlimited fun. Each day we will have programs upto 1 o clock in the night music shows, dance shows, magic shows and many more. There will be freshers function every year and branch function for each branch of students. Coming to technical festivals each branch has a big tech fest in their own course. Apart from that there will be various small festivals at technical standard conducted every year.

The only scholarship i know is from ap government that gives scholarship for students who got a seat through eamcet. i dont know of other scholarships.

There are almost equal gender ratio, students here have caste feeling which sometimes leads to fights among the opposite castes students from various religions are present without any racism. Economic status of students on avg is middle class. There will be parties very often celebrated each small big situations. There is one specific association for each branch which conducts various events at college level. debates, robotics will be conducted during college fests, technical fests etc. there is a specific building that has various indoor stadiums for shuttle etc the games that are not played in our college are rugby,football.

Hostel is only for girl students with mess facility. the quality of food is bad but students manage as they dont have other option. The rooms in hostel are average quality. These are things told by my girl student friends as they are the ones staying in t
