College review for poornima college of engineering

From my side it's a positive aspect on poornima college of engineering because I see them making effort and working for the students and their needs. Yes the college had difficulty in course changes by RTU but believe me they are atleast trying their best. Other college affiliated by RTU simply says read at your own. This college had been organising technical+ cultural festival. Students also went to international festivals organized and scored good rank. Interaction with lecturer and senior is decent. They try to help in their way.

Poornima college is affiliated to RTU kota. Recently The course had a major change. They are also trying to implement GPA system in their University. New subjects in trend has been added to syllabus but still college lacks in skilled staff and delivery of good content.

Poornima college have a good name in companies such as Infosys TCS Wipro and many more. Many software company comes for placement round. Students of this college has been qualifying a lot of online competitive exams (recently our senior got 7th-8th rank in TCS online competition all India level) I must say college has been providing good options to their student, but yes there are less option available for 3rd year students for their internship program.

Technical fest 1. Aadhar Cultural fest 1. Kalanidhi 2. Department day Major festival 1. Aarohan Technical+ cultural at inter level and intra level both. A lot of student take part from outer college also. Small festival on Gandhi jayanti. Teachers day n more.

I would say Fee of this college is a little expansive like for my current session we have almost 2 lakhs expanse(not fee) per year including both college and hostel + my own expanditure. I would like to advise to lower down fees to a feasible amount.

Actually I have no idea about this thing but yes there had been reward program for good scorer in exams. In first year of b. tech if you are in top 3 of college then you would be given laptop (1st) and cash prizes (2nd & 3rd) {at our time of 1st year}

Management of this college takes labs and tutorial classes on a serious note. There had been additional subject such as non syllabus project so that you can have knowledge about new technologies In market. Sports activity is not a concern here just because maximum number of students are not interested.

Yes I am a hosteller since last 3 years in poornima college of engineering. The infrastructure of hostel is good. They have a different management team for hostel which makes it efficient to Optimise and work. I would say for mess of hostel, believe me mess of this hostel is far better than hostels of other college in JAIPUR.

There are organised committee such as poornima alumni association which have been working to manage meetings between alumni and students of this college. Senior interaction program also made available as a learning program. There is not sign of raging in this college.

I scored not much marks in Jee so then I searched for private good college in Jaipur poornima college had NBA affiliation also so I opted this college And I preferred computer science engineering because I was having a good knowledge of programming in C.

Almost every faculty here is well qualified and done MASTERS from reputed university but but the major change in course by RTU makes college management at a loss point. Still they are trying to hire new and good faculty but at current time we lacks in excellence of department.
