A WELL STRUCTURED AND DISCIPLINED ENGINEERING COLLEGE

It is a disciplined and well-structured engineering college in Bangalore. The college management is good.

The college course and curriculum is set by VTU board. The syllabus is good as it includes all the core subjects required for the course and the syllabus is updated frequently by the board. But few subjects are outdated instead they can add new subjects that make us more industry-ready.

Good placement training is provided in our college through PDP programmes. When it comes to placements, mostly only IT companies visit our campus. Mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc hire a decent number of students.

We have two fests happening in our college. Vertechx is a technical fest organised by our college. Workshops are conducted before the fest to encourage students to take part in the events. We also have an intercollegiate cultural fest 'Swayam'. The number of participants is good at Vertechx.

For students coming through the CET process a fee amount of one lakh needs to be paid. For management students, the fee amount is two and a half lakhs per year. The fee amount for cet students is a bit high when compared to other educational institutions.

The scholarship is provided to students based on certain income limit and caste criteria. I have not applied for any scholarships. But my friends have applied and are getting the scholarship amount.

The college infrastructure is good. We have well-equipped labs and classrooms with good ventilation. We also have tinkering lab, Robolab, NI Labview lab etc., to encourage students to create some mini-projects. They also help us in patenting our innovative ideas through i2c workshop conducted in our college.

In our college seniors are very friendly and helpful. There are no ragging issues in our college as there is an anti-ragging committed in our college.

I got into MVJCE through cet entrance exams. With the admission letter, I came to college along with my parents and we completed the further admission procedures. The guidance provided during the admission process was good. The college norms were explained.

We have experienced and friendly faculties in our department. They impart quality education through their excellent teaching methods. They also provide us with good guidance for our placements and project works. Most of the teachers in our department complete portions on time.
