Life at BU

It has a strict environment with students being restricted to raise voice against anything wrong and it has a very high gender discrimination system. Girls and boys are not allowed to sit together in a group on campus. Anyone protesting against any rule is terminated from the college by the VC.

The course followed by BTech Computer Science is of 20 decades old. We are not taught about the new technologies just the same old technologies are taught that have no prevalence in the present world. The exam is only theoretical and we learn the whole subject just to puke in the examination.

Only 2-3 companies come for placements in the college. No internship is provided by the college and job opportunities are also low. In our project, only the teachers are there for namesake they don't have any technical knowledge.

Only one sports and one cultural event is conducted throughout the year. Rest are fresher and farewell which we student conduct and in that too we are forced to provide gifts to the teachers instead of freshers or seniors.

The fees structure is feasible according to a student. We have to pay the fees at the beginning of the year itself else we are barred from giving the examination. The fees are submitted per year of two semesters.

The scholarship is only provided by the UP government per year which is equal to the fees of the course. The children whose parents are government servant are not eligible for this facility. Any other scheme of scholarship is not present and any other loan facility is not provided.

No importance to extracurricular activities is given, attendance should be 75% per month it's not 75% per semester. Gender tolerance is very low with strict dressing codes for boys and girls. In some branches of BTech even which is such professional course girls are only allowed to wear salwar suit and not any Western clothes.

Hostel facilities are very poor. sometimes we have to go for days without water. No electrical appliances are allowed including basic requirements like iron and kettle. There is a large hike of hostel and mess fees, they give packet milk and if we have to boil it in mess's property then we have to give extra charge due to which we are bound to keep electric kettle stealthily. Dogs sometimes even sleep in our room. and girls are instructed to wear full-body covering clothes no matter they are in the room or going outside. If the matron sees any girl in short clothes. The girl is subjected to a lot of humiliation including bad words.

Yes, seniors are helpful. They provide textbooks and papers. They give directions to us as much as possible, they are always ready to help in whatever matter and ragging has no existence over here.

I got admission through the AKTU examination. Did the counselling and this college was allowed to me. Then in the college, I submitted the form and all the documents and paid the fees thus getting admission to the college.

Some faculty members are good. Some members are outdated they even don't go well with the current technology and updates. English skills are too low with zero conversation skills and they just do a job in which they show their power to students, cover very few topics and rest we have to study by ourselves.
