About my dream college sastra

I am well satisfied with my college in view of academics. it provide many opportunities to students to improve their skills. just we have to properly utilise it. we have chance to work in research under our interested faculty if we wish. one thing I dislike is the rules for girls will be too strict and there will be only 1 self outing per sem. it will be the most secured place for girls because they are permitted to go out?

The course curriculum is fine. in 1st year we undergo all different kinds of subjects irrelevant of the course we took, so that we can get a brief idea about each branch so that we can slide to another branch after 1st year if we are interested. from 2nd year onwards we will focus on our core subjects. exams will be frequently. they keep us with constant touch with books. 3 cias per sem. out of 3 the best 2 will be considered.

I am from andhra Pradesh. But I came to sastra Tamil Nadu. I main reason is placements, u can understand the %of placements that the university is providing. for a cse student there will be 100 percent placements, because I am cs student so I know about it perfectly. yaa our university is providing internships and stipend too. i am 2nd year student. so I didn't took internship still yet. But our seniors going to abroad for internship in the name internship abroad program and stipend will be provided by sastra.

When we listen the word fest the 1st thing that comes to mind is Kurusastra, the cultural fest of sastra. it take place 3 days. we can see university in different angle in those days. the nights will be so colorfull. there are so many another fests like carpedium, collosium (related to sports)Daksh, the technical fest of sastra, and it is india famous.

All fee payments will be done on online through CUB bank. Here we have to constantly check about the due dates of fees and we have to pay fee with in due date. the fee is feasible for a middle class family. In my comparison of fee structures of different colleges, I found sastra is reasonable and best. per sem we have to pay 69000 academic fee. Hostel per annum will be only 10000. mess fee should be pay monthly depending on the college working days.

Based on cpga the university provides scholarships to the merit students. Branch wise and year wise they will provide the scholarships. Laon will be provided by the college bank CUB. In case the student of sastra will loose his or her breedwinning parent then they are eligible for scholarship and university will maintain all their expenses.

There will be almost equal gender ratio. satra fully support the extracurricular activities by conducting collosium (sports fest)etc. in Daksh there will be many workshops. we have non academic activities like ncc, nss, score, e-cell where students should actively participate in. labs in sastra are well equipped and curriculum is set in such a way that equal priority is given to labs too.

Maximum all the students of sastra of will be staying in hostel rooms itself. Because one of the reason is cheap and they are more secure mainly for the girls. There will be 5 sharing, 3 sharing and 2 sharing rooms. we can choose according to our interest and cost varies accordingly. the hostel facilities are cost worthy, the 10000 we pay they do the best and can't expect like 5 star hotel facilities for 10000 we pay.

Sastra is 100 percent ragging free campus. so we can easily interact with the seniors. I am in touch with few seniors of my branch. Interaction with seniors help in choosing the section and faculty and choosing of open electives provided by sastra.

I got seat here through merit list based on my 12 marks and counseling took place according to the rank that we get based on our marks. there will be 2 streams of counseling 1 is based on both jee mains marks and 12 class marks and other stream is purely based on 12 class marks(ipe marks). I got seat through 2nd stream with all India rank of 12

Faculty is good and they are highly qualified. most of faculty are student concerned. there will be google classrooms so the faculty can give assignment and are constant touch with the students. Most of them completed pH d in their departments
