Remarks

No negative as it is one of finest college in india. No negative thing can be said for iit kanpur. Previously ragging was the issue but now it is also dimished to a larger extent. So you can say any wrong facts about it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exam structure as is previous discussed consists of two exams Jee mains and Jee advanced. Jee main is of 360 marks in which physics, chem and maths have equal weightage consisting of 120 marks each. After qualifying mains you will get opportunity to appear for advanced whose pattern is not certain. It is dyamic

Coming to internship, after our 4 sems compaines across world will come to provide internship. I am from electrical engineering background in the fourth year. I got placed at samsung Semicomductor

There are many fests that our college celebrate. But among all the india’s no 1 fest cultural, technical and sports are major one. Antaragni is of our cultural fest in which students from across india will participate

Every college offer a no of various scholarship among which major ones are merit cum scholar ship, Donar scholarship and inspire scholarship. Inspire is for BS/MS students, Donar is for top students in their perspective backgrounds.

Campus Life

As you all know about sports facilities in iits. After education next dimesnsion in which focus is imposed is on sports. In iit 2 sports centre are there. One is oldsac and new one is new sports complex.

Yes seniors are much helpful. In the first year of our college they take our mentor classes so that people who are from hindi medium will not face too kuch difficulty. They clear our doubts. This is could mentorship programme.

Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

I choose this college becouse of its flexible acdemic structure and its great Alum connections. Also this is the best college i am getting according to my rank and my interest in mathematics. I have Applied for IIT delhi in electronics. IIT Delhi is also a great college but when it comes to academic focus IIT delhi lacks there. Also there faculty administratation is so strict. if a student wants to start something or he/she has a new iniative for the college , he/she will face hard time. So I couldn't make it to IIT Roper CSE branch because my jee adance rank is not that great for the Roper' Computer science. So the Admission process here at IITK is not difficult. You just the originaly document which you have submitted in your josa counselling portal and you need to verify it once here usually a couple opf hours work. I chose IIT Kanpur over othe rcooleges because of its academic reputation, research opportunities and strong alumini network. I was also able to get seats in other IITs but I preferred IIT Kanpur due to its legacy . I didn't face rejections, but did not opt for some colleges even after qualifying due to lower research output, weaker placement stats.
