Look back to college

Pros: Positive thing is the college environment inside the college and outside the college both. No one can enter without ID card or any valid reason or identity. No violence, No Ragging. Xerox shop inside the college. ATM just beside the college. Lots of food shop. Available buses or transport. Nearest train station (Sealdah) Cons : Short place outside the college, so crowded place. Members of the office room is very rude. Fees structure is high and some unnecessary charges.

The course, I got admitted was little difficult for me but the class and the teachers were outstanding. They used to teach us by projector and take class test. The practical classes were very well described and with full of modern equipment. Exam pattern-- 1. There was class tests 2. Midterm 3. test exam (before the university exam)

No, in our college there is no placement system but the students get chance for higher studies in good Universities and many students from my year of passing got good chance for higher studies in some wel known Universities.

1. The first event we enjoyed was the freshers. It is organised in the CU and performed by well known celebrity singers. 2. The teachers day is celebrated for two times, one in the own department and the other is arranged by the college in the college auditorium. 3. Saraswati puja ofcourse. 4. Most important part is the college fest. The one of the best college fest in Kolkata. It is arranged in netaji indore stadium. 5. annual sports 6. Except all these major events there are some small events also happen from some brands.

I must say that the fee for bsc subjects are little expensive. Otherwise other subjects from B. A and B. com are reasonable compare to the B. sc course. While form fill up of the university exam they charge some extra unnecessary fees though the tuition fee is less than other colleges. And the laboratory fee is too high.

There is some scholarship exams happen from where one can avail scholarship but not too active that happens surely every year. Not that much of opportunity on this scholarship issue. But there form of kanyashree is done.

There are -- 1. NCC 2. Dance group 3. college band 4. Recitation class 5. Musical instruments class 6. Photography class The lab facilities are pretty much okay type. There is a common room with some indoor games. The best part in the college I found was no force on students from union to join them or to any activities of union. No Ragging Union members are super helpful.

We never felt any problem in the whole session. moreover we got many helps from the seniors, alumni and union. Except the college office members everyone of the college is really helpful. One can go to the seniors for any kind of problem they will definitely help.

I made an application and selected for the course of microbiology hons. Then a date was mentioned in the college website for the admission. I went and my name was called I got the admission after paying the admission fees. But I could not continue the hons.

The teachers are highly qualified and definitely they help the students a lot but if the students want to. During the exams in college like practical exams of general subjects they do their job strictly. But they guide us completely through the whole session.
