My college experience

Overall college is good what lacks here is the seriousness of the exam amongst students as scoring grades is very easy peasy.

The course is average here, teachers are also fine. Labs have good machines and equipment. For exams, one has to face 2 midterms and 1 final exam for each semester, in case of any medical emergency one can appear for 3rd midterm if we have missed one.

Almost 100 companies visit each year. According to me, placement activities are very good here. Special classes are conducted for placements in the final year. If you want grades this college will give you that. Avg student has a GPA of 7 here.

The main event here is the 'JU Rythm' which occurs in the month of March every year. Other than this there is a sports event. Various clubs are there to join. There is also a student exchange program that exchanges students from here and some foreign universities.

My course fee was 125000 and it's a bit expensive as compared to the other colleges and the fees is paid only through NEFT or IMPS you can't give any check or cash. Yes, there is a college online portal on which you can see your fees of every semester.

According to the JEE mains score or your 12th percentage, University provides some sort of scholarship and I got 83% marks in my 12th so I was eligible to get 35% of scholarship on my tuition fee.i.e around 33k rupees

Campus life is awesome gender ratio is pretty good here you can find more girls in BBA and BSc rather than BTech and labs are good sports competitions and all the other extracurricular activities are also conducted from time to time and for playing there are various numbers of Sports here. For robotics and AI-based Technologies here there is a club known as ju maker space.

hostel facilities are one of the best here there are 3 seaters and 4 seaters hostels and you don't have to share your room with anyone because here you get 3/4 rooms in a flat and one room is for one student only. There is AC as well as non AC rooms. Ac rooms have TVs but for that, you have to pay an additional 5000 rupees which will be refunded at the time of leaving.

If you are a hosteler then your senior students might help you and if you have been in touch with anyone senior then he or she will help you definitely otherwise faculty is very helping in nature. They will guide you.

I opted for this course because of my interest in the automobile sector. The admission process is very easy, one can get admission on the basis of 12th % as well as on the basis of JEE Mains Score and also with Reap form. All the above methods could be used.

There are 6 lectures scheduled each day. There is a subject teacher above that a HOD and then VC And at last Dean. For 20-30 students there is a mentor/guide who will help in all the issues regarding college, studies, etc and mentor is one of the subject's teachers only.
