My college

Our college has positive things like it focus more in study and exams, ragging is strictly prohibited, it give good placement. But it also has some negative things such as it is very old so has old infrastructure, and benches, class. In our chemical branch research part is very weak. While in other branches like CE and IT it is very reach.

DDU is best in study basis. We have lab every day. We have three internal exam every month one internal and after semester one viva exam and external exam is taken. Our college time is full day so it is very hectic day and also in our chemical branch we don't have holiday on Saturday.

Yes, our college provide internship and job opportunity is also very high. Many reputed companies are come in DDU for placement and internship. Recently reliance, honey bee, ONGC, Infosys has come. They will select many students and give very good salary.

Our college celebrate felicipic week every year in which many technical, management, cultural and gaming event is organised. Apart from it other small event is also organised frequently. Many seminar and work shop is also organised.

Our college has two seats GIA nad SFI in GIA seat government pay fees. We have total 1, 49, 000 rs. in SFI for tution fee and other exam fee and other fee. For GIA it is 3500 rs. It quit lower than any other college. So it is feasible for students.

college give scholarship for those students who do top. While other students can apply for the MYSY scholarship which is given by government. Our college has verification center so we didn't go to anywhere and it is easily available. MYSY give 67000 rs to SFI students and 12000 rs to GIA students. Also we can get student loan from bank. Some other private institutions also give scholarship and loan for study.

DDU is poor in extracurricular activities and sports activities. Very few activities are done in DDU. While it is rich in study basis so it has all type of labs which is required. Many student party is done good work. They arrange many seminar and other workshop. DDU is very isolated from the politics and publicity. DDU has no ragging rule and it is strictly follow in DDU.

DDU now doesn't have hostel facility for boys. So we have to live in other hostel and PG. Good hostel cost about 1, 00, 000 per year which includes food fee, electricity bill and other expenses. While in PG average we require 50, 000 per year which includes rent of PG, maintenance charges, electricity bill and food expenses.

Our alumni association is work very well and senior students are very helpful in further decision. They help us in study also and in placement also. If some alumni get work in some company, he request to company to come in DDU for placement. Alumni also come frequently and they give very useful suggestions.

I am interested in chemistry and mathematics so i wanted to be a chemical Engineer. DDU is very old and best college for chemical engineering so i decided to get admission in DDU. On basis of ACPC rank from the website of ACPC we have to choose college and then from results of round we got admission.

Our college has many experienced faculty some of has 40 - 50 year of experience in study and in industry. So they also share their experiences to understand perticular topic. They also take interest in every student to teach topic to everybody and if we don't understand we can also personally contact that sir.
