Positive is it's connectivity.It's well connected via Rail and buses.Also, a variety of patients visit regularly all, and there is no dearth of clinical cases to study.OPDs are open every day for assimilating knowledge
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is in a word, "Vast.".During a tenure of 4 years, You go through 19 subjects, and Subjects Like Medicine and Surgery, have no bounds.Internals pressurizes you like a cooker, and ward classes are too many.
Placement Experience
Placement and Job Opportunities are the most drawing strength of a career in medicine.Even without a job, there are various options to earn.There is a saying that goes like "A MBBS graduate never has to sleep hungry"
College Events
"Anastomosis"- The Freshers' Welcome "Impulse" - Annual Cultural Festival "Medicos" - Convocation ceremony. The biggest of them is the Cultural fest.Bands from all over the country perform on our stage.Most Notable are The Local Train, Fossils, Lagori, Underground Authority etc, and Solo Artists like Gajendra Verma and Ash King
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is extremely feasible.Semester fees is 4500, and hostel fees is 12 per month.And examination fees are rupees 2000 per University exams, there are four of them.But food cost are separate, sadlu.
Fees and Financial Aid
I personally didn't opt for any scholarship programmes, but there are Minority scholarships provided by the government.Scholarships are not provided by college, sadly.Also, taking loans are easier if you're a medical student.
Campus Life
Gender Ratio is almost 70:30, in favour of boys.Although Boys are more than double, they both do stay amicably.Hostel Parties are arranged unofficially after exams.Sports events range from.Carrom, Table tennis to Cricket, Volleyball, eSports, but the most prestigious of them is Inter Year Football Tournament.
Hostel Facilities
There are separate hostels for boys and girls, and an intern hostel.Two Boys stay in a room, preferably of the same year.Usually first year is allotted a separate floor.There is a common room too.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are very much helpful here.We're still friends with many of the seniors who left the college years ago.It's like an Extended Family to us.They give away all their notes after they pass out.They stay for life.
Admission
My Story is Simple.Appeared for the entrance, got a rank, and counseling brought me here.Had to leave NIT as parents wished to see me as a doctor.My Childhood "Aim in life" essay even didn't contain Medicine.
Faculty
Faculties differ from Subject to subject a lot.Some teachers are really good, helpful at exams, teaches well.It's usually such that the entire department is benevolent.But there are some departments that make your going like hell.Pure hell.
