PSIT - The Truth Of Black And White

The college is good, no doubt for overall development there are some things which needs to be done so that it does not hinder the students and their career aspects.college needs to come out of the shell of certain companies and look at big MNC's in product based department too.Hoping that it is soon implemented.

Courses though are good but are not practical and teachers try to teach in a repetitive process.Not their fault but system's.Exams are taken in a serious way.Two CT and a PU before the reals sem end exam along with practicals.

Placements are excellent though.Among the best in whole region.A lot of pool campus drive happens, a lot of companies come, a lot of opportunities and yes the companies provides internship too.Stipened is a bit less but better than nothing atleast.

Ignitia is the one festival where all the technical and cultural events happen.It is a big fest for us though but college has some strict rules which is not able to make it a better fest as it can be.The cultural team is not that good.Freedom of speech and expression can not be seen in these fests because the people are conservative.

The fee structure is good.1.55 Lakh for CSE for first year.You get scholarship too every year if you apply correctly.The fees is a bit expensive but then there are loans which can be taken easily from the SBI branch in college itself.

There is UPTU scholarship which is availed by student which returns back the admission fees of a year back to students.That is a good one.Other than that, kanya dhan is also valid and fee waiver system too which is a good thing.

We do have a lot of clubs where one can take part in.From Theatre to Music, list is wide and it makes the students versatile but the clubs are under the control of management and hence they are not so free to do what they want which hinders the overall development of students.Students stay under a shell and hence can not come out as a better person.

Hostels are good.Better than most government colleges one.We have Boys' and Girl's mess separately and along with that 2 nescafe outlets and and one cafe or canteen.The people and staff is good and is helpful.

Seniors are really good.They help a lot when it comes to the placements and other things. They are a saviour when we need notes which we haven't made.There is no cumture of ragging around so everyone is friendly and happy in campus.

I got through management quota as I had good marks in my class 12th.The process was easy and simple.They took a small aptitude test in which I passed with flying colors.Then I was asked which stream I wanted because generally CSE and IT is not given easily to everyone so I chose IT.

They are good.They can be better in their teaching approach especially the high authority should work more ln the overall development of the students.Teachers can use an end to end approach, rather than bookish knowledge.
