JECRC- Review

One should definitely choose this college if he/ she wants a proper career after their college life as it provides a huge number of placement opportunities. Apart from it, one will have enormous chances to participate in other social- cultural activities to hone their skills

The course curriculum is ideal for B. Tech students. Course is devided in 8 semesters ( 2 semesters each year). The course focus on both practical as well as theoritical approach. In each semester, 3 type of exams take place i. e., unit test ( 5 each semester); Mid-term test (3 each semester with a waightage of 25:25:50 ) End sem exam ( 80% of total course) End sem exams consist of both practical as well as theoritical exams.

Placement activities in the college start in the college with the starting of 7th sem and many popular companies including TCS, Accenture, JK Cement come for placement in the company. This college has a track record of providing a 100% placement to all its students irrespective of their branch. Internship is provided by the college at the end of 2nd, 4th and 6th semester in the well known companies. Stipend during the internship period depends upon company to company. Some provide a stipen of around 15, 000?/month other don't provide a single penny.

The main event in the college is "renaissance" consisting of cultural activities, sports festival as well as technical events and companies form different departments. The fest last for five days four night and is the second biggest fest of Rajasthan. Participants from a number of college take part in this event. Apart from renaissance, many other fest like JECRC-MUN, hackathon, etc. are arranged from time to time.

The fee structure is feasible for everyone as the fees is 45, 000/semester including of all other taxes. Along with it, you just need to provide examination fees of 1500/semester at the time of end sem exam.

Student loans are provided by the finance department to the students on the basis of their previous record upto 12th class and family background. Loans are available to the students at a minimal charge.

Gender ratio in the college is 1:3 (girls:boys), there are various cultural socities in the college namely adaa, zarurat, sarojini, etc. Students can join any of the society on their own discretion. Zarurat provides free education to the poor. Sarojini works for empowerment of girl child. Apart from them nukkad natak are organised from time to time. Open mike comptitions are held in the college premises.

Hostel infrastructure is properly maintained eith 24 hours security as well as drinking facility. In hostel, a room is shared by 2-4 members depending upon the hoatel. There are three hostels in the college, 2 for boys and one for girls with their respective play ground and separate mess.

Alumini network of the college is very big and strong. They provide from time to time various guide from time to time regarding the experience after the college period. Alumini sessions are organised from time to time by the college to provide insights about their time in college and how it effect their career in due course of time.

Admission in the college is done on the basis of marks Scored in JEE Mains as well as score in 12th standard although the marks in JEE are given priority. There is separate number of seats for the residents of Rajasthan and other states. I preferred mechanical engineering branch on any other branch due to the curriculum provided by the college and the previous track record of placement in the field. JECRC provides almost 100% placement to its students.

The faculty of the college is very qualified. 25% of the faculty has doctor's degree in their respective field with rest having a masters degree. Each faculty member has a teaching experience of atleast 4 years and are very qualified. They have very fond subject knowledge and always willing to share the same.
