About my college

The college management is money hungry which was not the case two years ago. They have been charging unfair late fees to students who are financially weak. The college authorities needs to provide facilities to students and should train the faculties.

The curriculum involves industrial training, projects and everything one needs to become an engineer. The 8th sem is totally dedicated for industrial internship and there are college events where students participate and groom themselves. We have been taken for an industrial visit once.

The placement record of this college has went down drastically since the time they declared it as University. They are totally dependent on company like TCS for recruitment half of the college students. Average package is below 3.5 lpa.

There is a plethora of events organised which really serves an actual instrument for students to develop their technical and soft skills. Events based on Robotics, hackathons, fashion designing, music and etc take place on the campus. So the college is good in terms of activities and events.

It's a feasible fee structure as compared to the other colleges in the city. They have a revised fee structure which I personally think is harsh for students but it still is nowhere close to what other colleges demand. The additional charges that we pay are a burden to the pocket. Additional charges include development fee, convocation fees, placement fees etc. The transparency is zero in fees structure.

I didn't apply for scholarship or loan. But one of my friends has been received a scholarship from college due to his excellent academic records.

The college encourages events organised by students itself and there ks a good ratio of gender. Sports complex is not up to date and they need to improve the facilities for sports players. The college authorities have stringent policies for attendance. The students therefore are left to manage their own for extra curricular activities.

Alumni are somewhat helpful. Our head of department have many times arranged an alumni meet for us.

I opted this course because of my interest in robotics. I chose it because it's a college in my city and was appropriate as per my jee scores. Admission procedure was simple. I gave my jee score result and other documents while campus admission. And filled a form and selected my preference branches for admission.

Not all the faculties are good. Some of them lack industrial knowledge. The teaching methodology is also not impressive. Overall it is good for a tier 3 college. Although we are encouraged by the faculties to opt for online courses too offered by IITs.
