A good college in ranchi

The positive thing about the college is that from past few years the this college is getting the maximum package and is aso generating the top ranker in NIMSET examination from last 3 years. Tbe bad thing is that too much politics is involved here and frequent strikes happen.

There's a well defined cource. Vocational as well as non-vocational cources are offered along with core courses. There's a mid-sem exam before each semester and there are 2 semesters per year. The under graduation degree is of three years with total of six semesters.

The college provides internships as well has a separate segment for the placement cell. The internships are generally held at nearby city or can be sent to any other city of different state. Not major companies visit here but the companies which visit generally provide a decent package, the highest package being near to 18 lakhs. However it's upon the students how they crack the placement tests and secure a good package. Thei internships have an average stipend of maximum 25 thousand per month and can be minimum upto 5 thousand per month.

There are many events celebrated here including the freshers party, republic day, etc but the annual fest is the biggest celebration. It is not celebrated on a larger scale. Crowd gathering is not too high. There's a decent celebration during the year.

The fee structure is very much simple. Fee is as low as 12 thousand per year. Can increase upto 13 thousands maximum till the last year. Scholarship program is also conducted for the instate students, which gives 100% fee waver thus making the study absolutely free if you fall under the criteria.

The college provides a very good scholarship programme for the home students which covers upto 100 percent tuition fee waiver. The thing is that if you are from any other state other than jharkhand you are not eligible to avail any scholarship and need to pay the full amount.

The extracurricular activities are not held at big scale but you can find few sporting clubs and tournaments arranged from the college side. There are labs also for physics, chemistry, computer science, etc,. Theres a good library facility for every one.

There's no boy's hostel here the campus has only one hostel in the girls section. Which has moderate facilities. However you can easily get PG and separate hostel which are available all around the city wherever you opt for.

The alumni network is not that strong. The seniors can be supportive in most of the cases but sometimes they might not be good as well. They are always there to guide the juniors and always help them with their task.

Admission in this college is based on it's entrance exam. One needs to pass it's entrance exam and on basis of that merit lists are announced, and further admission procedure takes place with submission of fee.

The faculty is average. For research purposes the faculty might not prove to be good. However they help when you ask help. Mainly students need to put their own efforts. The faculties of the vocational branch is okay but for non vocational courses they are not so good.
