Remarks
Our university is not at all perfect neither it comes to top universities in India but it provides you a good academic environment plus the curriculum is also according to the latest trends which are going on in the industry they don't believe in only study anthem in spite they try to maintain a good balance between study and enjoyment that's why we sometimes get more opportunity to enjoy our college life compared to some other college but there are many areas where our college need serious improvement.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am pursuing the bba+mba which is a specialization in financial services. Overall the course is good the curriculum gives you a good knowledge about finance. And there is an option as well if you don't want to opt for the MBA after your BBA then you can leave the program and you will be awarded a BBA degree.
Placement Experience
No, our college doesn't provide 100 percent placement but as few companies come to our college for recruitment and only the best students get placed. Apart from this, our college is providing us internship opportunities as I am doing my internship in bpo firm so far the experience is good and also I am supposed to get a stipend of 10000.
College Events
One thing there is to talk about our college is the fests as a lot of fest, functions, annual sports, cultural meet used to happen throughout the year though I don't attend them much those happen quite often.
Fee Structure And Facilities
About the fee, I would say it's not cheap as my program that is bba+mba (fs) is costing 60000 per semester but yes our college helps to manage the fee by providing you education loan assistance. And there are some other expenses to like one-time admission fees and exam fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, our college does provide scholarships to deserving students but the numbers are not huge. Yes, they provide loan assistance as they have partnered with several banks. For scholarships, you have to have a good academic record.
Campus Life
As I have written earlier our college organize fest and sports often where a number of games are being played starting from cricket to football to badminton to chess including with that we have big computer labs where more than 100 computers are there.
Alumni/Alumna
Our alumni network is not weak compared to its life span as our university was started in 2012 and it was the first private university in West Bengal that's why it is one of the famous universities not only in Kolkata also all over the state.
Admission
Through interview and merit basis. If anyone gets admission here then he or she has to contact our admission cell and have appeared for an interview then the panel selects the candidate depending on their academic record and performance in the interview.
Faculty
The faculty of my program that is bba+mba (fs) is good. Very cooperative and helpful they have proper knowledge of their respective domain. But like every other college, there is sir or ma'am who doesn't seem to be that frank.
