My course stream was commerce which I love from my very higher education classes i. e, class 11. So I always had my confidence in solving accountancy problems.

Placement Experience

My College doesn't provide any internship facility. I myself got the placement in a nearby Chartered Firm which was a very good firm. I got my experience in each and every department of commerce and computer knowledge. I use to get 8000 as my Stipend.

College Events

Umang was celebrated in my College. I myself got the placement in a nearby Chartered Firm which was a very good firm. I got my experience in each and every department of commerce and computer knowledge.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was very minimal in my College One has to pay 8000 for 3 years of graduation and it is the cheapest university in India. I myself got the placement in a nearby Chartered Firm which was a very good firm.

Fees and Financial Aid

My College was very helpful for the needy students who could not afford their studies So they use to help them by not taking any fees for their study in the College and provide them with all the books and copies that were needed.

Campus Life

The College organizes sports every year. Every student in the College participates in various types of sports events such as a 500 meter Race, cricket, football, cycling, and many more. They provide cash prizes for every winner in each sport and it use to be a very successful event.

Alumni/Alumna

My College and my seniors in the College were very helpful for the needy students who could not afford their studies So they use to help them by not taking any fees for their study in the College and provide them with all the books and copies that were needed.

Admission

I got my admission based on my marks. As I scored more than 84% marks which were the least merit marks that should have been scored. I got the call from the College that I have been selected in the 1st merit list.

Faculty

4.5

Each and every faculty was the best I have ever been with. They were highly qualified and very down-to-earth people. They are always ready to help you every time you face any problem regarding any subject. They were very important reasons why I scored 99 marks on my accountancy paper. So I really admire them.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

The aspects of the curriculum which really influenced my decision was building the foundation of accounting to holding expertise, which was aligned with my goal of studying CA. The curriculum used to be upto date which give us a real time exposure. The exam used to take place in every 3 months.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

UCC has good a academics!!

Umesh Chandra College is a different Universe for students!!
