It's overall good government College as compared to other Colleges of India. It's a new College. Advanced machines are not available but patient load is good. you learn very practical experiences here because of faculty support
Course Curriculum Overview
Exam structure is entrance based An all india entrance test is conducted by MCI every year on May and then rank is alloted on the basis of state and national merit. State covers 85% of seat and rest 15% by national test
Placement Experience
Yes. Stipend provided during internship is highest among all the Colleges of India. But workload is very much. Also you have to learn work of every staff of medical including the paramedics. Overall it's a nice experience
College Events
Various events are celebrated in College including the local festivals. College have a annual College week and conferences (national level and state level) are conducted every year in our College and also festivals
Fee Structure And Facilities
Very feasible. It's a government College and all the government medical Colleges of Assam have a very very cheap fee structure. Just we have to pay annual hostel fees (2500) + mess dues per month. Also admission fees is 25k
Fees and Financial Aid
No need of scholarship. But if the salary of parents are below required criteria people apke for UGC scholarship alloting 7. 5k per month. But the main problem is it's allowance is very irregular and tiring.
Campus Life
Very good. Gender ratio is almost 50:50 and extra curricular activites are available. Sports like badminton; cricket;football are available here. Students get chance to show their talent during annual College week.
Hostel Facilities
It's below average. Maintainace is very poor. The quality of products used during the establishment seems to be very cheap. But pgs are available outside. Hostels are also overcrowded and it's given on first come first serve basis
Alumni/Alumna
No alumni network is present in this College. We are the first batch of College. We passed this year only and we are planning to make an alumni group so that we cn help our juniors but it will take time
Admission
Job opportunities are good in this career. This is A evergreen career always having high payingjob opportunities. Although struggle is hard but it is worth it and after doing MBBS from a decent College we have to go for post graduation
Faculty
Very good both practically and and as a teacher. Surgeons are very good in their surgical skills and both teaching skills and non teaching staffs are very good. Also they are good as well as promote extra curricular activities too.
