RV College of Engineering is AUTONOMOUS College it follows its own syllabus which will get upgraded according to the development of technology and demands ( For job placements). Here the exam structure is different when compared with other Colleges, for each sem there will be 3 online quizzes, 3 internals, 1 external which includes all types of questions. ( online quiz will help us to prepare for higher education accordingly such as GATE, PGCET, other govt exams).

Yes, of course, this College is one of the best Colleges where students get maximum placement opportunities with greater salary packages. The main Branch like ECE, CS, TC, EEE gets almost 90-100% placements with an average of 6 LPA. Other branches also get opportunities but the percentage is low which is about 50%, which even depends on your performance. Yes, many major companies offer internships opportunities, while some companies pay a stipend and some of them don't pay. An avg stipend ranges from 5k-50k, which depends on the company you get selected.

There are many clubs in College ( Kannada Sangha, Rotaract, E-summit, Ted-X, RAAG, Carv) that work together during fest times. Major fest organized in Colleges are 1. KANNADA HABBA during November month 2. 8th mile during Feb-March. These 2 fests are the greatest fest celebrated in all Bangalore Engg College. The best part is that it is organized with all student's effort just College gives the support and permission. Everything is managed by students which helps students in getting new things and skills improvement.

As Bangalore is an expensive city, The fee structure is also a bit expensive for middle-class families. Even though if we get Admission through KCET the students will have to pay 2lakh per year (Inclusive of Hostel, College fee, govt fee) which is a bit costly but nothing can be done. If we get admission from management it is very expensive which a normal middle-class family cannot afford because only the College fee ranges between ( 4 lakh - 11 lakh) per year which even depends on the branch we want the admission to. Overall the fee structure is Expensive.

For students from Karnataka have the best opportunities to get scholarships from Epass for food and accommodations and vidyasarathi from the government. If a person cannot afford this price he/she can get an education loan which is accepted in College.

As College is United by various clubs students get many opportunities to showcase their talents in any field, both curricular and non-curricular activities and events. There will be various events and activities throughout the year by these various clubs which help us lot in the development of our talents and involvement with others. The gender ratio is about 60/40 (boys/girls). There are workshops with all required support and permission from College.

The bad part of this hostel is that it has a hostel on the campus itself only for boys, but for girls, it is outside the campus and provides bus facilities for there traveling for College. But for boys, it is inside the campus which is very advantageous. The infrastructure is good with the reconstruction of the old hostel. ( 1st year- 3 sharing, 2&3 rd year- 2 sharing, 4th year- single sharing). The cost of a hostel is about 95000 which includes mess and accommodation. The food provided is very nutritious and even delicious with many varieties all throughout the week.

At staring of College we don't get that much interaction with seniors, but later on, as days pass and as we get involved in various clubs and start working together and participating many new people we will come to know which includes seniors and also juniors they suggest all the things we can do and don'ts which they wanted to do or something which will help for our academic and other purposes. Any knowledge or suggestions given will be always helpful it all depends on the way we consider them and act accordingly.

As RV College of Engineering is one of the top colleges for Engineering. we can get admission for BE by Entrance Exam such as KCET, COMEDK. Or by management which a middle-class family cannot afford. There are various cutoffs by Mark's scored in KCET through which we can select the branch. As usual, we have to follow the KCET allotment process and get into this College.

All the Faculty are well graduated and have sufficient knowledge to deliver to students and help them in the progress of their career. Many faculty have great experience of teaching with many publications of review papers and work done in research field and other fields.
