Indus University review

My college has a big advantage of having various fields that many of other colleges doesn't have those include aviation, air hostess training and fashion designing which brings a lot of crowd around from everywhere but the negative side which my college has tis the hostel that is insanely bad and lacks a lot of facilities for the amount of money that is being paid

The course sometimes gets very hectic due to the curriculum although I do enjoy the various labs that has taught me many coding languages and is looking forward towards a brighter future. The course also has research facilities which has helped me a lot.

There have been multiple companies that come for placements which includes SAP, amazon, Audi, electrotherm and a lot more. The university also provides internship in various technical and non technical fields. Although I haven't had a experience in placements as being in the 3rd year but have many friends that have had.

We have 2 big events around the year one being Instincts and other being Ramzat wherein we multiple events which include traditional dances, Electronic dance music, garba events and a lot more. They are quite big as during this events many big celebrities are also welcomed there and promotions are being held.

It ranges 45000-50000 per semester depending on the course and I think it is feasible for most of the part as due to the facilities being provided. We have Ac computer rooms and also have a big parking. The university though runs fully on solar power for which I think the fees is a big high as they have minimal cost on electricity so I think if that is the part they should have made the fees a little bit more feasible

My institute does provide with loan facility offered though multiple bank options. The university also provides scholarships for the people who are scoring well but could not afford the university. Therefore there are ceremonies which gives scholarships to this talented students.

Gender ratio is about 70-30% for boys and girls. There are no student dorm, we have multiple worships which include a lot of technical and non technical workshops. University has a great discipline in terms of gender, race, religion and sexual orientation that is there is a community that focuses on maintaining it.

Yes i have opted the hostel, and the infrastructure is good but the facilities are not at all present. Students are supposed to pay a immense amount of fees which provide no facilities that is I am staying in a sharing room and have been paying 70000? for a semester which has only the room and food covered. We are not provided with AC rooms, food is extremely bad so this is the place where my college has to put a big focus on

Yes seniors in the university are quite helpful as they provide us with a lot of help in studies and also activities which includes study material, faculty guidance and also provide us with information about future plans

I appeared for one entrance exam for getting an admission all over Gujarat for which I got the score required to get into Computer science engineering and hence i got the admission through the entrance exam.

I wouldn't say they are all great but we do have a mixture of both as the majority of the faculty has great knowledge about their particular field but also there are some that does only the bluffing. Although every faculty has to have a PhD to get into the university so that's a good thing
