faculty levels is little low as per a university should have and hostel fees are too high for the given facilities

Passed 10+2 in PCM from any recognized board with minimum 70% marks for Non-Sponsored & minimum 65% for Sponsored Category can take direct admission here although i took admission from my jee mains exam

Course Curriculum Overview

It was nice course curriculam but first year and second year are boring due to subjects like law, history, biology, chemistry, evs but after it actual cse college starts with programing, java, operatng system and software development and lot

Internships Opportunities

As a second year student i have no idea about internship but internship program in summer and it forms a integral part of every program is carried in during avg package of amity university is 3.5 lakhs to 4 lakhs

Placement Experience

Average package is between 3.5 to 4 lakhs, many good company google, wipro, pepsico, microsoft, hp, dabur, citi bank etc come here every year, amity claims 100% placement but it is not truth, amity helps every student to get placed

College Events

Each and every festival is celebrated at amity university not so big but celebrated and amity conducts sports program called sangathan every year, recently salman khan and sonam kapoor too visited amity university

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for non-sponsored candidates is Rs. 134500 per semester. Fees for sponsored candidates is Rs. 202000 per semester. The fee for company sponsored would be three time the non- sponsored fees Relaxation in qualifying exam percentage will be given wherever applicableThe fees for NRI / Foreign category will be same as sponsored fees

some students get scholarship who has good marks in class 12 boards above 90% but no scholarship for jee mains marks

Campus Life

campus life is only thing here if you have friends . their lots of sports to play but very few courts for badminton, lawn tennis,labs are as per reqiurements, amity has lots of club eg dance club, debate club, sports club etc

Hostel Facilities

hostel fees are too high rs 140000 for rs 75000 for no ac excluding foods with no facilities .mess charge is high as per university concern some dish taste good but some are worse

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

amity is raging free campus . seniors are nice, helpful they help in developing your ideas but we dont get time to meet seniors except if you are in hostel .

Exam Structure

exam is conducted strictly with easy paper if you are thorough with your subjects, during practical you have to write full experiments in presence of strict invigilance, but in viva very easy questions are asked

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. AMITY UNIVERSITY - GUIDE 101 FOR B.TECH

I applied to SRM chennai and got the admission letter. but i had to choose AMITY because of lack of hostel accommodation in SRM for female students. When i got there they told me they had 0 rooms for so many students. I did not get a rejection, i had to reject SRM because of lack of hospitality for North Indian people at the reception desk.
